At least Lundquist showed up. All you need is a goal now and you'll get the 1-0 win.

Well it's the coach that continues to play him well past he should be playing in any situation. Miller would bring more to the table as a 4th line center IMO.

Thats a great deal for the players. They can do no wrong. I guess the coach expecting a former cup champion to play to his capability, and earn his paycheck is clearly to blame.
- WayneZ

No he's clearly to blame he sucks. But no excuse for coach to continue to play him is it? Or should Richards go Roberto Duran and decline to play.

Hank might have to steal this one.

Understatement of the night right here.

I hate torts, with the fiery passion of hell, but at the end of the day, each coach only has a finite number of options when they draft the lineup. The organization spent a boat load bringing 19 onboard, and you have to ride the horses you have. I think Torts job is to continue to believe in his players, and I think in general the fans have given him a pass for his play. No way i blame torts more than richards.

Boston looks solid on both ends but it's scoreless and I guess as of now that is a positive.

And no way should he be on power play and that's coaches decision.

Sent him home from the taxi squad a last week or the week before to heal his wrist. Same injury he got when he was playing with the Rangers

Hockey is very much about momentum. If not for Hank we're down a couple already. That being said a goal for can swing momentum in our direction and change the way this game is going big time.

If Richards factors in on a PP goal tonight, would you credit Torts with the decision for putting him on the PP?

And more then likely team is buying him out so you think the organization really worried about squeezing a few more games out of him to justify the gazzilion dollars they're going to pay him not to play.

No becausenhe has been a negative drain on it for to long to make one goal erase that.

Indeed my HB friend, indeed. Rask made some game changing saves in Game 2 and Boston fed off that.

No. It will be considered lucky by a vast majority of fans here or a case of even a blind squirrel finds an acorn every once in a while.
