Np everyone passionate here and have different ways to root. Some are super cryptical like myself and others are opposite. In the end we're all fans. I tend to automatically like all fans even of other teams. To me hockey is like religion.

The difference between you and Saver is that you actually criticize other aspects and don't take personal shots at people who disagree with you.

Can't wait til Richards is bought out. Guarantee is returns to form on a new team though. We're cursed

He's lost a step, unless he regains it, it doesn't matter where he plays. He looks cooked.

I can't believe how poorly they played in such an important game on home ice. Really disappointedwith the effort from pretty much entire team. Henrik showed up and that was about it. Bruins look great though. Very deep, big, physical and play pretty good defense. Grats on the win

I like that word. May I use it in the future? I believe it currently doesn't exist outside of HB.

Sure I invented it. I merged cryptic and critical. Glad you like it!

It's a forgone conclusion. Even richy knows it. It's a shame how quick he lost it

Yea. They are ready to rumble. I hope they kick your a$$

No hard feelings tho

- Slimtj100

haha I understand picking Ottawa or the islanders against us, but you'd rather see Boston?!!? god you must really hate us haha.

but in all seriousness, penguins gotta take care of business first, but the ECF will be a good series. Penguins haven't lost in Boston for 2 years I think... we have really had their number these past years.

rangers are an interesting team. will be interesting to see what they do this offseason.

He's lost a step mentally and that is worse than losing a step of actual foot speed. Hockey sense and instinct can overcome a loss of a step of foot speed but when it starts to get mental it's not an easy fix.

I realized where the roots of the word came from but I was disappointed I hadn't already thought of it myself. Nice work!

To me it looks like he plays not to get hurt. Won't take a hit to make play and plays timid.

I've seen that too. Although when he has the puck and should be dangerous he looks to tentative. It's like he has no clue where to go with the puck or what to do with it. There have been brief flashes where he looks decisive and the PP looks better and he looks better but that has been few and far between this year.

The best way I can describe how I feel about him was that I was in the car on the way home from work listening to the game on radio. Heard Maloney and Albert say Richards was on the point on the PP and all I could say was why and why hasn't he been replaced? That should show just how far he has fallen.

He shouldn't be playing. He provides nothing. Dolan better eat the money. I'll drive him to the train station.

Gonna pull a saver here and said I told you so. I hope they don't make the same mistake on a spending big money on overrated 30+ year old UFAs again

To me the biggest difference so far in the series is Boston depth and their dmen ability to get their shots on net.
Most of the time when a ranger dman tries to shoot they miss the net and Boston is able to clear the zone while Hank has to make a save on traffic.

As far as trying to contain Boston's 4th line for starters I would not have eminger and Moore out against them as well as Richards.mi would counter with the Boyle line and better d. To me this is on Sully who is in charge of changing the D

I will say that as I remember 90% or more thought he was a great fit at least for the first 4 or 5 years of his deal. I was one of them. I don't think anyone really expected this though. And because even last year he was pretty good if not great, I'd give him another shot. He has performed when it matters. This year has been an utter

He actually helped last year. Just look at it thus way, they spent $60 million to have a number 1 center for one year. Not our money.

I think a lot of what happens with Richards being bought out will have to do with whether or not torts comes back.

Gotta bring up Jimbo's point though, if he gets hurt next season then there is a chance you can't buy him out. Why Redden didn't stick around this year. That risk is to great for someone who could be on the books til 2020
