It was 1-0 Rags going into the third, I didn't get to pay much attention to the game till after it was tied up, but I don't see how you can say you were dominated when you are leading 1-0 going into the third. Hank was looking the Hank of old tonight, I saw a few break away stops from him.
I'm not trolling, legit don't get it, and like I said I didn't really get to see much till after the game was tied up. - Rayven
Outside of Hank, I thought the Rangers were pretty bad. Battle level wasn't there in a must win game |

tough way to lose a hockey game boys.
boston looks like they are on a mission... if the penguins face them next round, it will be an interesting series... penguins wont have the karma favoring them though. - SuperHenderson13
Yea. They are ready to rumble. I hope they kick your a$$
No hard feelings tho |

On paper they aren't but Boston plays their system well and they have been together for awhile. - MidnightMarauder
This ha nothing to do with Boston! Series after series. Game after game. The team plays tight! Get past the red line, shoot it in. Oh we got a goal!! SIT ON IT AT ALL COSTS. It's killing me. This style is draining, boring, and killing me. I'm sorry but I'm done. |

tough loss. lundqvist was great (although he caught a few breaks).
i think his is the rangers first loss in regulation when leading after 2 periods in something like 80 games, which is just insane. - hammarby31
I feel bad for Hank, other than that they deserved to lose. |

I think the guy you need that might be available would be Yandle. Phoenix needs young forwards that can score in the worst way. You guys need a rushing d-man/PP QB. If the salaries can be balanced both ways, I think that's the realistically attainable guy you need. - BarryB1124
Yandle for Del Zotto and a young forward is something I will listen to. Rangers need a point man like Ron Duguay needs a stylist. |

No, B's took it to them all game. Hank was terrific, not much push back from Rags, the posts are pretty accurate. |

Hank was the only reason we were in that game. Could have easily been 3 or 4-1 bruins. Majority of the play was in the rangers end even when they werent getting great chances.
After the rangers goal it seems as if they took there foot off the gas |

Aside for a Richards buyout and using that money I really want to see how this team would play under a new coach with a new style. |

But on paper are they really THAT much better? They actually carry the puck into the zone, what a concept! - mrhattrick27
I tend to think they are, to be honest. Lucic...off year but very high level power forward. Marchand, outstanding scoring wing. Sequin...speed to burn, tons of skill. Bergeron...best 2-way C in the league, great on draws. Krejci, solid two-way C, excellent playmaker, strong on draws. Then you add in Jagr. And we haven't even discussed the line that scored both goals tonight. The D...Chara, Seidenberg (when healthy), Boychuk, Hamilton, that's pretty good. And Rask is super-athletic. They're deep and like someone in the thread said they're on a mission. |

Rangers only had 9 shots on goal after the goal early in the 2nd...yep taking their foot off is a good way to put it |

Bruins were controlling plqy and dominating the boards. Much of the play was in the rangers end. Bruins had some great chances but henrik kept them off the scoresheet. Rangers were very fortunate to go into third leading imo |

Its hard to take but pro sports go year to year, its not like this team is far away and they are still in the process of building it. Come the summer, we will be on here with renewed hope. Come October we will get a full 82 with a new format and we will all be asking...why not us? We all need to cool down and see what this off-season brings |

Not that they ever really had a lot of pressure.
Totally not the way you wanna come out in a game when your team is down 0-2, on home ice. |

I am not going to compound the negativity but this team can't continually be this ineffective offensively year after year. Something has to give and something has to be done for next year's team to be more competitive. - MidnightMarauder
I agree, it just doesn't seem to matter what offensive talent they bring in, offense just seems to die here. I really can't explain it, it's just depressing. |
