Dogs and cats live together in my house, though I'm not fond of the cats all that much. Dogs have far more personality.

Dude has mind control over you guys. Pete is the only one playing this right. I thought i conditioned you guys for this. I didn't troll quite hard enough.
- WayneZ

Thankfully I have a way to deal with that as well. Pete won't be alone as the voice of reason!

I am not going to compound the negativity but this team can't continually be this ineffective offensively year after year. Something has to give and something has to be done for next year's team to be more competitive.
- MidnightMarauder

Well at least this free agent core is pretty weak...don't have to worry about another high priced player

Jagr was an animal tonight, full credit to Boston, but that lack of effort from NY was inexcusable.
- MidnightMarauder

Yeah they got outworked badly in the third. Hasn't been an issue with your guys in recent years but this year you're definitely getting up and down efforts.

No, I am here to try to cheer this sorry lot of fans up and try to provide an objective voice of reason. Much like WayneZ is trying to do.

But on paper are they really THAT much better? They actually carry the puck into the zone, what a concept!

I try to keep it light. It's hard to accept that our fanaticism within the blogs has no bearing on the game, but once you do, getting mad is just pointless.

i never thought a coaching change was possible, but they may have to think about it or at the very least, if they do keep Torts then he has to institute a change in philosophy, an additional coach, something that makes sense. Slats needs to communicate this. Oh, and buy out Richards, holy smokes, he is not even a bantam level player now

Most of the so called top players have given shoddy effort this season.

I've never lost a political debate in my life. Want to know why? Cause i really don't have any solid beliefs. You can't argue with a flagrant troll cause they use your emotion against you. You'll never pin him, cause not caring is what allows one to troll. You have to defuse them by refusing to give them the response they crave.

i swear, do i need to write a f'ing book?

- WayneZ

Maybe. My friend gkmkiller prefers a different way to deal with trolls. His way is more violent. He doesn't like me much either.

I'm not trying to do that. I'm just getting their guard down, so my insults hurt them all the more.

Nobody is that much better than anyone in this league. I think the Rangers play tight.

Remember when we spoke this afternoon and thought there is no way this team would turn in a poor effort? We were wrong, it looked like they had no resolve, honestly, they looked like they didn't want to take another puck to the face. I still think the coach is a good coach, but maybe it is time. This is the type of effort that will get any coach fired it doesn't matter who they are.
- Blueshirts4ever

I hate posting after a loss. But the effort or lack of effort has been a issue more then it should for a good team. I know everyone like to draw comparison to Tom Coughlin and Torterella. But I think he might be more Jim Fassel who had his Super Bowl appearance but team was unprepared far to often.

On paper they aren't but Boston plays their system well and they have been together for awhile.

It was 1-0 Rags going into the third, I didn't get to pay much attention to the game till after it was tied up, but I don't see how you can say you were dominated when you are leading 1-0 going into the third. Hank was looking the Hank of old tonight, I saw a few break away stops from him.

I'm not trolling, legit don't get it, and like I said I didn't really get to see much till after the game was tied up.

boston looks like they are on a mission... if the penguins face them next round, it will be an interesting series... penguins wont have the karma favoring them though.

I think the guy you need that might be available would be Yandle. Phoenix needs young forwards that can score in the worst way. You guys need a rushing d-man/PP QB. If the salaries can be balanced both ways, I think that's the realistically attainable guy you need.

tough loss. lundqvist was great (although he caught a few breaks).

i think his is the rangers first loss in regulation when leading after 2 periods in something like 80 games, which is just insane.
