At this point I hope they do. Would rather they kill me quickly than give us false hope. It looks like this team could care less tonight.

That was pathetic...no fight at all. Big middle finger to the fans tonight. Minus Hank of course

They may need to bring a new coach and score some goals next year just to convince him to stay as a free agent.
- Pete V

I never thought they'd be down 3-0. They just wasted an epic comeback in the round one.

That was a sorry excuse of an effort. I can't believe how easy they made it for Boston tonight.

Need a goal with 30 seconds left...yep lets call on Brian Boyle to save the day
- TPC

I hate coach even when they win so I'm not biased. But his fatal flaw might be his loyalty to certain people Boyle (although decent in his role. But not in position Torts puts him in), Richards and Sullivan

What time should I book the tee time?
- keatondixon

That effort was an embarrassment. Especially since a 41 year old player that you threw on the scrap heap a few years ago was better than anybody on your team, including Rick Nash.

Yeah the apathy was real easy to come by with the way they played tonight.

Jagr was an animal tonight, full credit to Boston, but that lack of effort from NY was inexcusable.

I just think he was trying to match the size. The rangers are a very small team. That was severely exposed this series

The extent to which Boston dominated the Rangers along the boards in the third period I thought was surprising. Not that the potential for it wasn't there, just that Boston had to have won 80% of the board battles and loose pucks in the period.

I know people want really big changes, but I think the Bruins are regaining their early season form and the Rangers have some weaknesses which can be improved in the offseason. On Torts returning, if it was my decision I'd be 50-50. I think he is a good tactical 5-on-5 coach. I question the PP structure at times. But I don't like the way he calls out players in that condescending way publicly.

Congratulations, Saver!!! You might get what you wish for after all. In fact, let me get it started for you early. I am leaving the board so you can say "I told you so," "I was right," or whatever you want. You can revel with your buddies and feel superior in your advanced knowledge of the game without at least me here to counter you. Not sure if you'll have to deal with any of us other inferior hockey fans but you won't have to worry about me. I am absolutely done with this board for at least a couple of days. I am sick of what this board has become more often than not. Congratulations!! You have done what pretty much no one has done in the years I have been around here.

I wouldn't say very small. Maybe some guys need to play bigger but in sheer size they're not that small top to bottom. Boston's probably bigger and stronger but they overwhelm lots of teams in terms of size.

Remember when we spoke this afternoon and thought there is no way this team would turn in a poor effort? We were wrong, it looked like they had no resolve, honestly, they looked like they didn't want to take another puck to the face. I still think the coach is a good coach, but maybe it is time. This is the type of effort that will get any coach fired it doesn't matter who they are.

Boston will not collapse like 2010, the Rangers won't allow them to.

No heart, no pride in their own building, absolute joke, fire Torts and send Richards to the unemployment line with him, fuk his BS team, I hope they get swept and it stings because they deserve it

Dogs and cats live together in my house, though I'm not fond of the cats all that much. Dogs have far more personality.

I am not going to compound the negativity but this team can't continually be this ineffective offensively year after year. Something has to give and something has to be done for next year's team to be more competitive.
