No idea if this was posted but this is from Lighthouse Hockey today...
...where you also see this rumo(u)r-ific scuttlebutt via the Winnipeg Free Press:
The Jets attempted to trade Burmistrov and reportedly had discussions with the Ottawa Senators, Buffalo Sabres and New York Islanders at the deadline. The names Jakob Silfverberg, Drew Stafford and Kyle Okposo have all been attached to Burmistrov trade rumours. - eichiefs9
I'd love to have Bumistrov. He is a noticeably irritating player every time we play them. |

Not really "holding out" when no one is offering a position.

You got a point though he may have been offered a position as just a coach and rejected it? Who knows? |

And they were SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO prepared for games 1 & 5....
...as well as the last week of season when we dropped to 8th. - jmo16
So many people miss the weeks before those 2 loses to end the season that got us INTO the playoffs and games 2, 3, 4 & 6

They were out of it mentally games 1 and 5. What I liked about these guys is that they didn't let that beat them down. They got back up and competed again. The "old" Islanders would've got swept. They would've laid down to die. These guys not only competed but gave the Pens a run for their money. It shows growth and more importantly heart. Something this team and organization as a whole has been lacking for some time now. |

I think you should just go ahead and get "Cappy Forever" tattooed on your arm or chest or neck. Then I'll be convinced you are right and I am wrong.... |

Karlsson takes a slash to the mouth, goes down, Pittsburgh takes the puck and scores. NHL officiating proudly on display

Crazy Sens-Pens game so far. Any of you just see that fan cursing out Crosby along the boards?

Yha I have been fishing since before I can remember, Salt water has always made me happiest, either going down to Captree and jumping on the Capt.Rod for fluke/flounders or the Super Speedys for Blues to driving out to Montauk trolling for Stripers... growing up these were my happy places. I have been fresh water fishing hundreds of times, but never is it as fun or exciting as salt water.

I prefer freshwater...smaller bodies of water, where all you need is a rowboat that you can take out of the water afterward and flip over. Saltwater's a blast, but a lot of work and you come back more tired than when you left.
