He admitted the mistake later. they got to where they were playing one way, and then moved away from it and it bit them in the ass.

don't even need to run up the score...... Boston was looking dejected, the fans were loosing it. All they had to do was skate. they let them back into it.

Go to your strengths.

Sorry man I disagree. Boston started to play their game which they hadn't most of the series and showed the weaknesses in Toronto's lineup. Toronto had no response to the physical onslaught.

No smothering, no biting.

If Grabo reached out and bit his arm, I would agree with you, but this situation is a glaring example of why each incident should be evaluated seperately.

Because they weren't skating. If they were skating Boston wouldn't be able to dominate physically.

The reason Boston started their physical onslaught is because the Leafs let them. Boston was a beaten team. The leafs stopped playing to their strengths and played right into Boston's hands. If they had tried to move the puck instead of trying to kill the clock they would have won. Carlyle admitted his mistake in having his team stop skating allowed Boston bak into the game.

Carlyle had his team stop skating!?!? Don't think so. Boston took over the game. Period and the Leafs had no response. It's game 7 so once 2 goals go in you call time out if you feel you have a response. Like Franson said they were gassed. Boston took the life right out of them.

will hurt a little longer than '93 high sticking non call
- dmnted

Yes, agreed. At least in 93 the Leafs had a chance in game 7 but they blew it. Everyone obsesses about game 6, they all forget about game 7. Yes Mr Weeves Kerry Fraser fukked in game 6 but the Leafs fukked themselves in game 7. We had game 7 at home. With guys like Gilmour & Clark, we should have kicked the Kings asses. So with no chance for redemption for the 2013 Leafs, the disaster of 2013 hurts more than 93. Leafs had a chance for redemption in 93, the 2013 Leafs didn't. That's what makes the 2013 tragedy hurt that much more.

Burke gave Grabbo too much money & too much term on his extension. Burke should have either tried to trade him at the deadline or just have let the fukker walk away as a UFA. Should have told Grabbo to fuk off than, but never too late, Nonis can still tell him to fuk off now.

Grabbo admitted today he bit the Hab player's hand. Mabie now the Flyers would be interested in him now. Don't tell Flyfreaky I said that.

What, overpay & to much term? Well than Nonis would be conceding that Bozak is the #1 center & he aint pursuing Stastny. Cause Kadri is the #2 center. Nonis aint re-signing Bozak double his salary just to put on the 3rd or 4th line.

When Boston got physical, then started to cross the edge without being penalized for it, the Leafs didn't respond in kind. Like many hockey people said, they lacked push back, and they paid for it.

I knew this would be a problem when Philly almost decapitated Lupul, and his teammates (and many in Leaf nation sadly, like when Roenick broke Sundin's jaw) said ho hum, and went limp. This team needs to replace players who don't push back, and replace them with ones who do.

Clarkson would be a good start, then maybe go out and sign a guy like Torres, since nobody else wants to get their hands dirty. Make teams know if they want to cross the edge, we'll meet them there in the most assertive manner possible.

I really like Grabo actually, he's had an off year but I expect him to bounce back. Watching him in the playoffs I think he showed that he can elevate his intensity to level to help the team, something that a lot of players struggle with. He might have gotten overpaid for this season, but if he can bounce back to the level he was at when he signed the deal then he's worth the money.
