Stastny to Toronto is not an upgrade - as a matter of fact, while Bozak's numbers have been getting improving the last few years, as you mentioned, Stastny's numbers have been declining. Replacing Stastny for Bozak next year might actually make this team worst.

The leafs are a speed team, and were skating circles around Boston throughout the series. When they were using their speed they couldn't handle them.

I don't think one guy (clarkson) changes the outcome of game 7. The only way to change it is continue what got them in that position in the first place. They stopped doing it, and got burned.

Its hard to tell if this is a serious question. How can anyone think that Stastny is better than Bozak? How could anyone think trading Phaneuf - a guy who I now for a fact got Norris trophy votes - should be traded? This is all insane.

Lucic was able to do what he does because the Leafs stood there and let him. they got into the position by outskating the Bruins, and they let the bruins back into it by stopping skating.

The leafs never tried to make a play in the last 10 mins.

You think clarkson can stop lucic when he's on a rampage?? If he was here he'd have been doing the same thing..... trying to pin against the wall, trying to slow down the game (which plays right into the bruins hands), trying to run out the clock.

The leafs best asset is speed and skill. Their worst is defensive zone coverage, zone clearance, strength down low (especially against lucic types). The problem is they used their best asset for 50mins and built a 4-1 lead, and then turned to their worst asset to close out the last 10mins.
