I think Colborne looked good at the end of the year. He could slip into 3 or 4 spot.

I love the kid, but he's not suited for a 3rd line checking role. If we get Stastny & we don't re-sign Bozak & buy out Grabbo, ya we could put Colborne on the 4th line but wouldn't he be wasted there?

The hard part is, if he gets to what people think he cn be someday, he is the big centre the team needs. So the dillema is will he progress the right way staying in the AHL at this point?

He looked good everywhere he played in the playoffs IMO. I hope he gets a crack at something next year.

Awesome, Murray is a UFA. Like with Scuderi, again I ask: A) DO the Pena wanna re-sign him? B) Does Murray wanna stay in Pitt? C) Would he come to TO?

The fact that these guys haven't been re-upped speaks to the fact that they likely want to see what the bidding war does, that said, they could be resigned before July 1.

I think Joe could be just as effective as Bozak. Everyone's gotta keep in mind that Bozaks numbers are bc of Phil. I think Joe could do as good on that line. I'm not even close to saying he's the answer I just don't think we need to resign Bozak. If we get Stastny that is

That's why u promote Zigomanis. The Steckel trade is looking dumb now, he's great on faceoffs, big 6'5 guy.

They do have that versatility. Nonis has got some tough choices for sure. The problem with Steckel is that other than draws, he does pretty much nothing.

Yup. Don knows. He got squeezed out but when he gets chances at the NHL level he's fine. Good PK guy plus he has bagged goals in the NHL before - 17 one year.

Meh. He played what? 8 games as a Leaf had a 52% face-off win ratio which is fine, but he never had to take 1000 and such to prove himself over a full season and he's never been offered a sniff at the NHL since. He's an AHLer that Grapes got a boner for, not much else.
