Chris Neil may be a great teammate, but he's slow, and not half the player a guy like Cooke is. I'd never want him in a Pens uni.

As a fourth line enforcer I would take him. Like I said, over Glass anyday. Over anyone else. I doubt it.

I'd graciously accept the title of 'troll' here. Now, being put in the same category as TheRat is another story.

Yeah, these guys are saying TheRat is a Flyers fan, and maybe he is, but I've never noticed him in a Flyers thread.

And I didn't even mention the loss...just how the tying goal at the end was odd to say the least.

I notice EF in the Sens blog...but I guess that's not considered trolling, right?

I have no interest in Chris Neil ever being a Penguin. I don't think he carries much value whatsoever absent being a pest. At least Matt Cooke brings a solid game - can score 10-15 goals; plays a solid game and is effective on the PK.

you forgot to mention solid game...oh wait, never mind.

Come on Balonious, it was only one game. I wouldn't count on the Penguins losing every one of them. Chin up old Bean.

He is a Flyers fan, I can vouch. Anyways, trolling can be a noble, righteous calling when done properly.

Or was it improperly? Ah, whatever.

This coming from the team that pretty much erect single hockey fan in the told calls Crosby and the Pens the biggest cry baby team in he league.

- tuna99

Did you seriously just write "erect single hockey fan"?

Uhhh, I'm really trying my best to figure out what the (frank) you are blabbering about. Actually I'm quite frightened to know. Are you having a stroke or is it just because you never graduated from grade school and aren't good at writing sentences? Next time try to make just a little sense please. I know it's difficult since you have never come close to accomplishing that so far on here with your asinine comments but give it a try at least. You might actually surprise yourself and the rest of us. Doubt it though.

Erect is a word that should never been mentioned on a hockey blog but by the sounds of it you don't even know what it means.

Their definition of a troll is someone who points out any negatives of their team/players. If you have the temerity to lift their gold and black glasses for even a second they label you a troll. Oh well.

Im sorry guys but Chris Neil is way more valuable of a player than you are giving him credit for.
Is he an offensive juggernaut? No
Is he a great teammate? Yes

- nbartley9

Great teammate? Sure, but that doesn't constitute him as someone that would work. We have a better guy than Neil. His name is Cooke and its not close.

Still ticked off how the Pens just completely blew that lead. Sickening. They looked like fools out there. I give a lot of credit to Anderson for the way he bounced back. He was sharp. Vokoun also played well and he still should remain in goal without a doubt.

The Pens have only scored one goal in the last nearly 5 and a half periods. The PP cost them the game last night. They looked terrible in more ways than one. I'm disappointed with how they loss. Should have never got to OT but the Sens didn't give up when the game looked all but over. I don't like having two games off but with the game going in double OT it should help the Pens and their older players regroup some. Go get 'em on Wednesday!

Another observation...

How can a sane man choose to play Tanner Glass over Jussi Jokinen? One guy can play in every situation and win's face offs. The other guy is a fringe NHL'r who didn't get his first point 'til the season was almost over.

- madmike71

Because you need toughness out there with Engelland out of the line up. (sarcasm)

This should read Bylsma dropped the game for the Senators

Still in disbelief that he thought that was a good idea but don't feel Ottawa is going to comeback. Very lucky to win the Pens turned it on in both OT's. The shot selection seemed piss poor though.

Someone on this board has a sexual crush on Neil and thinks he is tremendous for some reason.

You aren't in the same class as others, I'll give you that. The main issue I have with you is that you tend to engage in arguments from an anti Pens bias that you should know aren't winnable here, then just drag them on and on and on and clog up the board. There's something to be said for making your point and leaving it at that.
