"im out of it for a little while, I wake up and everyone has delusions of grandeur"

Don't think so.

you were trolling the ottawa threads before pitt even beat the islanders, saying that the pens would sweep ottawa in 4......you know, i know it, don't bother denying it.

i didn't say the PP was your ONLY advantage, i said it was your biggest advantage.

and for all that skill, the play at even strength has been even......if anything, the numbers show that ottawa has been a bit better.

as for the skill vs skill......obviously malkin and crosby are better than everyone else, nobody is gonna deny that.....but as for the rest. i'd say the next 2 most skilled players are on ottawa's roster (spezza and karlsson). they aren't 100% right now obviously, but they've been as effective as neal and kunitz. and there is no comparison in skill in teh bottom six, ottawa just has more of it.

zibanejad, condra, pageau, greening, smith.....all talented players, all in the bottom six, all having an impact in this series, and all as good or better than what pitt has in their bottom six

- sensarmy_11

Dupuis? Iginla? Sutter? Do still play for us don't they? I love when Dupuis plays on a lower line after a PP. Its embarrassing to everyone else.

Smith-Awesome hockey player.
Greening has been a beast too.
Zibanejad is Kennedy light
Condra- come on.
Pageau is not even better than Bennett, and Bennett is a scratch every night.

Your out of your mind, show me. The threads are on the right, they go way farther back than that, SHOW ME.

First off I dont say those words, I feel like its bad luck.
Second im a pretty big fan of the Sens as a team. I have been looking forward to this series all playoffs.

I get carried away a lot and love every second of it, but don't put words im my mouth I do a good enough job of that.

5 on 5 goals are 5-4 in the Penguins favor.

wow, you're on a roll today.......

and on what planet are dupuis and iginla in your bottom six, and in what universe are they as skilled as spezza or karlsson

dude, seriously, stop talking...............every time i read one of your posts, i'm reminded of that old saying....

you're right, forgot that alfi's goal was shorthanded.

still pretty even.....and the even strength shots (which show who's controlling possession) favour ottawa, in all 3 games.

so maybe it was wrong to say that ottawa has been better, but it's JUST AS WRONG for others to claim that pitt has controlled the play in this series.

The play has been pretty even. The difference in games 1 and 2 is that Vokoun outplayed Anderson. Game 3 was pretty even between the goalies, with Anderson being slightly better. Anderson needed a game like that, as he had been shakey in the first 2 games. Tomorrow night should be interesting.

I was talking about over all talent, you seemed to forget to mention those guys when you were busy putting words in my mouth.

Half of your team would be in the AHL if they were on the Pittsburgh roster. As matter of fact your entire bottom 6 and your bottom 4 dmen would be in Wilkes-Barre.
Enjoy your last win of the season.

That's sounds pretty confident.
Disagree with my posts, call me what ever you like.
Talk about me long after I leave here for the day.
None of that bothers me in the least.

But don't put words in my mouth that truly is annoying.

i'm sorry, this isn't 2006....when discussing high skill players, iginla and dupuis don't belong in the conversation with guys liek crosby, malkin, spezza, and karlsson

and your second paragraph is perhaps the stupidest thing written in the history of the internet. congrats, quite an accomplishment

Vokoun didn't have his best game, but made the saves when he needed to.

A spear now? A spear that only people in Ottawa think they saw or want to believe they saw. Stop making things up. I can say Neil got away with a spear too. See how that works?
- Oneonta Penguin

No, Orpik gave Neil a pretty good spear. I caught it and laughed when the refs didn't call anything. Nothing that Neil didn't deserve.

If I'm Ottaw fan, I temper my enthusiasm with regard to Pageau. He might have that Peter Regin feel to him. Whether it happens or not is yet to be determined, but the last player to come out of the woodwork a little before playoff time was Regin and we haven't heard from him in a while.

I didn't see it, but he gets and deserves the Matt Cooke treatment.

regin was blown out of proportion, people were talking about him being a top six player.

nobody is talking about pageau like that......all the talk about him is that he's a great 4th line guy. is pesky, plays bigger than he is, is fast as hell, and can chip in offensively.

everyone realizes that he's not a top six guy, but he likely will be a very good bottom six guy

The Penguins' bottom 6 is better than you think. They may not show up on the scoreboard as much as the Sens' bottom 6, but are not required to with all the firepower then Pens have in their top 6. The 3rd and 4th lines have been effective in what they are trying to do. Sutter has been on the ice for 3 5 on 5 goals through the entire playoffs, Cooke has been on the ice for 1. Cooke has also successfully gotten under the skin of Karlsson, which has affected his play.

i didn't say your bottom six wasn't effective.....i was replying to a post about skill. ottawa's bottom six is a very very good mix of grit, defense, and skill. yost has broken down the numbers on several occasions (you can read his blogs if you want the proof) and despite all the injuries to the top six (who have struggled often), ottawa's bottom six has DOMINATED opponents all year long.

How dare you!!!
He is hurt, he is at 70% leave him alone.
He is hurt, not nice. Did I mention that he is hurt still.
He would be better if he wasn't so hurt. Hurt players have a history of playing out of position and flopping to the ice like a wounded deer.
He is still hurt don't forget that.

Which is exactly why Ottawa needs 3 more other worldly performances by Anderson and the PK to have a chance to win the series.... because we saw Sunday that even when those 2 things happen it's no guarantee of a win.

I doubt the Pens will get shut out on the PP for the duration of the series and if they were 1-6 instead of 0-6 its 3-0.... not that I like play the ifs and buts game but the Sens are walking a very thin line right now.

You said "your bottom six is talentless, and are of little to no effectiveness. Condra is the next Mario Lemieux, and Spezza is the current Mario Lemieux. Sens will sweep you this series"

How do you like it? Fun?
