Unless vanek wants to be traded i would not trade him. What are you going to get in return draft picks or possibly another player that already does what he does? Seems completely pointless. Yea if he want's out you trade him or you sign him for 5 more years which I would prefer. Trading Miller is something I would rather see.

It has been mentioned here that he already tunred down an $8mil/year deal. I don't want Vanek for 8MM a season. Especially at 7-8 years of $8mil. I dont even want him for 7mm a season.
