Bernier has put up the same numbers as enroth why would we give up a 1st+ for him to be the same player? Id be a lot higher on him if he played himself into playing more games ala Schnider

Our biggest issue is that Darcy is still the GM!

If your in the Top 3 is pretyt hard to screw up. There are teams out there that draft far far worse than Darcy. Hes had good picks hes had bad picks just like anyone else

Richards who I despise, has accomplished way more than Vanek has. Before last year he never had a year under 60 points and has 2 90 point seasons. And is a center. Teams won't be bidding for Vanek IMO

Ill admit as much as I want a scorer Id prefer to have a team full of top two way players. Its one reason I enjoyed watching then Predators play for so long. If we have a couple shut down lines then I dont care about Cody's defensive short comings or Grigorenko's as well.

If there was a KHL at the time, Malkin may have dropped too
My Callahan reference was if we decided to pick a guy like Rychel or Mantha, they are seen as potential "Callahan" types,
Where as Nichuskin is seen as a potential "Malkin"
ISS has him rated #2... AHEAD of MacKinnon and Drouin...
So that should say something

He only drops bc of the KHL contract & concerns he may not ever wanna play here

Darcy is unlikely to get an offer for Stafford he likes
Hopefully he has a bounce-back year and we can get a good return for him at the deadline
I still think Vancouver should be all over Stafford
He scores 30+ playing w the Sedins (Pyatt got 23 w them one year!)
