Lots of petty whining and complaining from both sides on thsi thread. Heres a couple facts:

- Quick has been the best player in the series
- Reffing has been questionable on both sides
- No matter who you're a fan of, though it is close, Sharks have carried the play and would seeem to be the bettter team.
- Most impotant fact Kings have won 2 Sharks have won 1 and in the end wins are all that matters.

Kings have played well enough to be ahead in the series therefore they have the better team so far. But its first to 4 wins, so we will have to hold our final judgment untill that happens. Good luck Kings (but not too much). Go Sharks!

I thought you knew. Once the team you cheer for wins, they put your name on the cup too.

Takes Kings about 45 years to win the cup, and suddenly all their fans are experts about the game. It's quite hilarious how they feel like THEY accomplished something, when it was the players who actually won it.

Nobodies saying the fans won it. Everybody in Hockey knows these players (the Kings) accomplished one of the greatest Stanley Cup runs in the history of the NHL!! You guys don't seem to respect that fact nor do you know what it's like because your team chokes every year. Jealousy is a terrible thing and facing your reality that your team is a failure is a hard thing to come to grips with. You guys may do it this series and this year and I say more power to you! The problem is you haven't done SH#T yet!! The Kings have!!

I bought my Kings season seats in 1978. I bet you weren't even born then. I have two boys who are still playing at a very high level and hope to make it to the show someday (though we know it's a long, long, long shot).

So when you ask me if I think I'm an expert, I say I think I know more about the sport then the average joe. I've seen the thrill of crazy victories and the agony of some bad losses. I've traveled many miles to see my kid "phone it in" only to come back the next day and amaze me. I've been behind closed doors before and after big games.

So why am I here? I love hockey, and I enjoy the banter, so keep it up! There is nothing in the world like playoff hockey!! Those who don't like this sport have never witnessed a game 7 live.

YAY !! well said... thank you, and yes at the end of the day its the scoreboard that you have to look at, everything between the horns gets discarded at the end of the game and the scoreboard does not lie... Great series, far from over..

My GF hates when there is a hockey game on, because she knows if she tries to tell me something. It gonna go in one ear and out the other because I get too focused in the games. (Playoffs)

I think that series will go 7 and the Hawks will take it. Of course there was this theme last year that the Kings never faced adversity so they will crumble when they do. The Hawks haven't faced adversity yet and are about to find out what they're all about. I guess that remains to be seen..

I don't see how are they over rated? They won the Presidents Trophy for a reason. Detroit is a really good team, way different level than the Wild. (Sorry Wild fans). Hawks just might have fallen into a rut at the wrong time.

Perhaps I'm just biased, but I would love to see a Detroit/San Jose Conf. Final. When those teams meet in the Playoffs, it's always gonna be a good series. But if it ends up Detroit/LA, (No hate on LA) I would like to see Detroit with the Cup, since it's their last time in the West.
