Running over a goalie is kinda hard to say that was a weak call....he didn't make an attempt to stop and he wasn't pushed that much. Pushed or not you have to make some attempt to not run the goalie. Bad calls are part of playoffs all over the place. Its not a matter of bad calls its a matter of overcoming them and not letting them take your teams drive to win and nose dive it into the ground.

The Sharks have plenty of injuries going on and one of the best guys in round 1 is suspended. The Kings are the champs and champions will always play 60 no matter who is suited up.

Everybody shut the hell up. Bad calls are going both ways, you didn't lose game 3 because of bad refs and the sharks didn't lose game 2 because of bad refs. Just enjoy the damn series and may the best team win

I think this is the most reasonable post of this thread. Reading about all those conspiracy theories some fellow Sharks fans were making up after Game 2 was really laughable. Yes, refs make bad and questionavle calls. Over the course of the series they tend to even out. Just get over yourselves and enjoy games.

This is actaully a very accurate statement. Sharks have been the better team, Quick is the better goalie (through 3 games).

Loved seeing the 2 man make up call, now hopefully both teams will stop crying and get back to hockey.

I'm from Montreal and have been to 7 Cup parades (71, 73, 76,77, 78, 79 and 86), I think I know what it takes to win. Agree with you that in the end all that matters is that you win and that no team wins without overcoming adversity. That can be injuries, penalties, bad bounces, they all happen in a Cup run.

I posted this on YouTube after watching the replay of Vlasic's penalty. As IntotheTeal said, some choose to complain, some do not. I think both 5on3 situations were deserved for the play on the ice.

We had this game locked up and then Stewie decides to dive and swipe wildly for no real reason. 5on4
Then Vlasic scoops a puck over the boards instead of just a hard bank out of the zone. 5on3
Then Couture tries to clear a puck through two defenders instead of taking the open ice and calmly skating it out. Tie game...

It may sound like I'm mad but it's at the situation not the team.
Last night we showed that Quick is human, that the Kings are beatable as long as we don't beat ourselves, and that the Sharks can make adjustments to get results.
Winning the next 4 is not unreasonable considering 3 of them are at HP Pavillion.

Then when calls that are just as controversial happen in the next game but it's in their favor, then it's the refs did a good job and the calls were deserved. They always have an excuse why the calls against them are crap and the ones for them are always justified. A little too convenient if you ask me.
