I wouldn't go that far though.

This series is playing out as most thought. A home win series, relying on special teams. Sharks won for going 2-4 on the pp, LA 0-2. The Lewis call was completely legit in my eyes, so kudos to SJ for getting it done in OT.

1st loss in 7 games for LA, not too worried. Good series so far, we shall see on tuesday.

No, I think he hit it pretty dead on. Actually, I think Sharks fans are more biased than Canucks fans. If they lose, it's the ref's fault. If they win on some controversial calls, then the story is flipped, refs did their job and the Sharks are just so good.

Sorry, not buying it.

In my opinion the officials have been atrocious for both teams in different games. Its ridiculous these guys receive they paychecks that they do. Other than that it has been a good series between two good teams.

Great effort by Logan, showed why he should wear the "C". He is the leader and should be the identity of the team. Change that and I believe the team will start living up to expectations.

Kings and Quick rebound very good from losses. Kings will play best game of playoffs Tuesday. I imagine the Sharks will come with a better performance too.

Shark fans, players and organization got what they wanted! I guess if you female dog and cry that much to the media, then the NHL will reward you with a win! What a joke I guess that's what it's going to take for the Sharks to win the series

Have you been watching the series? Quick is the only thing keeping this series tight.

And I thought Kings fans didn't complain, right other King fans?

Perfect example of what I was talking about right here.

Typical Sharks fan.

Blah blah blah the Sharks are so good. Quick is the only reason the Sharks haven't dazzled us into elimination. They would have won 3 Stanley Cups by now but the NHL and the refs are against them. Boo hoo hoo hoo hoo.

Everybody shut the hell up. Bad calls are going both ways, you didn't lose game 3 because of bad refs and the sharks didn't lose game 2 because of bad refs. Just enjoy the damn series and may the best team win

Not fair weather blogging, Cam was unable to cover Game 3 in person, I'm just filling in. I would have posted win or lose.

Also, I should have listed Jeff Carter as a pretender given his poor performance on faceoffs.

Martin Havlat is another pretender and has frustrated the Sharks with his inability to play. He tells Coach McLellan he's healthy and then sits out the second and third period. He likely has played his final game wearing Teal

Brad Stuart was not listed as pretender or contender. Yes his turnover was costly to allow the Kings the tying goal but he also dished out that big hit on Justin Wiliams so I considered that a wash.

I'm not complaining or saying anything about conspiracies, way to pull that out of thin air.

The Sharks have been outplaying and controlling the play of the series so far. Quick has had to stand on his head in every single game. If he wasn't doing that, I do not believe the scores would be as close.

Keep in mind this is a compliment of Quick and not meant to be an insult of the Kings. They are a very good team, I just believe the Sharks skaters have been better so far and are getting beat by a goalie who is playing out of this world.

Ian posts one ignorant comment in his blog and all of a sudden it's canon, despite being easily proven by actually knowing what you are talking about. It's pretty funny that he called Cam out for only posting after wins during a sweep.

strictly California Greens! the best you can buy after Afgan. But that's here nor there, the question is I'm guessing you switched over to become SJ fan? One of your favorite Canadian teams lose or what? The Kings would easily sweep with a healthy lineup and that's no lie or neither does it have to do with whatever I'm smoking

I've been a die hard Sharks fan for quite a long time now, never switched from anything.

What kind of injuries do the Kings have more than the Sharks? Clifford & Stoll?

1. agreed, actually. he's the reason why we got through st louis in the first round as well.

2. the penalties were penalties. the timing sucked. sharks are tough at home and i'm sure no sharks fan felt confident watching quick stand on his head yet again until the 5 on 3. and even then, it took a while to click when it went 5 on 4.

series should go 6 or 7 games, this is a good one.

lol I'm talking about injured players only, I'm not having pissing contest with you. I can also say Kopitar got injured last game and the rest of the team is injured and have ton of bumps and bruises from the 1st series. Stoll, Mitch, and Green are important pieces on our team, thats kind of the reason why we haven't played 60mins the past two series. Cliff is just a bonus!

Havlat, Demers and Burish ARE injured. We had injuries mid game too. It's the playoffs. Injuries are not an excuse.

So if the Kings lose this series will you say it's because of injury?
The Sharks have plenty of injuries going on and one of the best guys in round 1 is suspended. The Kings are the champs and champions will always play 60 no matter who is suited up.
