I don't find it a Torts bash at all. I find it a critique on a system that needs to be adjusted a little to suit the personnel. The key part of that personnel is hank. Here's the bash ( sort of ) Torts needs to adjust the system.....next season. Now is not the time. Continue with what they're doing and we'll see how far it gets them.

I've seen a lot of articles about this but not to many praising the way they play right now. But, no time to change now, next season will be telling.

But the FACT remains that if he didn't have the best goalie in the world here, Hank, we would not have even made the playoffs this season, despite being the Cup favorites at the start of it. That includes Quick, Bobrovsky, Rask, and whoever else is the 2ND best one.

I know I've been in the middle of this Tort debate. I guess it's another type of "Tort Reform". Fact is, we don't know what style he brings to the team next season. This post is a call to Rangers fans to stop bickering(including myself) and support these guys today. After we win the talk will be how home ice is now ours and how we will have a great chance to find ourselves in the same exact position as last season. Lets go!!!!

I think that those here, me included, would be less on Torts if he admits he can't win JUST doing it HIS way, and would make adjustments to his game plan and Sully's powerplay, especially when needed. He even said the other day that he doesn't make adjustments. What coach ever said that in any sport? Plus, he should be more respectful to the press for one, besides using his tactics of calling out his players. He is not Scotty Bowman, Vince Lombardi, or the equivalent.

Isn't it funny in this important game that we come hard right back for the 2nd time score right after a Boston goal? Then why can't we initiate and dictate the harder offensive forecheck, as even Barry Melrose said on the radio pre-game show, especially on the 3 rookie Bruins defensemen?
