Bruins at 16% during the playoffs when operating on the power play. 3 times as good as the Rangers. - tomburton99
really ?
it doesn't seem like that to me, and no I wasn't trolling, I'm surprised tbh |

Your probably right.
X's and O's I don't think he needs to go. Personality and pr wise he has wore out his welcome. So I guess if the players are tuning him out, that's the deciding factor and the million dollar question series 1, it didn't happen...tonight is the next plateau - Slimtj100

This isn't popular but ill say it anyway ...and I dont wanna minimize the struggles, but...the rangers lack 2 imperative things for a successful power play, a booming point shot and a big guy to screen the goalie And drive the dmen or goalie nuts. It's so hard to get a decent success rate with perimeter players like we have and guys with not so hard slap shots. Clowe was brought here I believe to help in this area specifically and he's obviously not playing. Which is really hurting it
I'm curious to know what the percentages are since we got clowe, with him playing and with him scratched |

I like Moore alot, but a shot like isn't what I'm talking about. They don't grow on trees but they need to address that kind player in an acquisition this summer |

I wasn't referring to his shot but his presence on the point in games 3 and 4 against the caps. |

I wouldnt fire Torts. BUT if I made that choice it would have nothign to do with the presser BS it wouldbe because I am tired of his X's and O's. the X's and O's have me entertaining the thought of him being gone. I could care less about the other crap. |

Ah I see. The factor for me with torts will be if or when he loses the room. Or as he calls it "the rum"
That hasn't happen yet. Occasionally they're tired of hearing him I'm sure, but they haven't quit on him I don't think |

Here's what I'm saying, if they had a guy like souray and a player of holmstroms ilk, this pp would be at least in the top 10. That really don't have either kind of |

not necessarily, look at the Bruins PP, Chara and Boychuk both have a big shot and they can dump looch on the door step but it still isn't great
it certainly isn't top ten |

Ive gotta say, its looked good vs the rangers
I'm just saying that they only have perimeter type , smallish guys out there. It's just doesn't intimidate anyone |

I'm truly mystified by that, given the way that Hank has owned us the last decade or so, he's almost looked human so far in this series. |

I am not interested in a discussion about the coach being fired now; all I am interested in is seeing the Rangers get back in this series tonight. |

Almost? He has looked pedestrian by any standard. Some of the goals he has allowed have been AHL-like. |

Game 1 he's more blamed then game 2. 3 of the goals were screens, but he seems to have lost a bit of confidence no doubt |

If it it wasn't killing their chances of winning games their power play actually is quite hilarious to watch. |

.... It's a circus act out there. I haven't been around much, moving, I listened to Sundays game in the moving truck, moving back and forth, it was ridiculous how many times I heard blocked or wide when they did manage to get a shot. It's sad but my hope now for when they get a power play is hopefully the Bruins don't score shorthanded. |

If they could somehow just get one PP goal I'm sure a ton of weight would be lifted off of them. Create some new system, 1 guy at the point in the middle, a guy on each side wall and have Boyle and Pyatt stand side by side directly in front of Rask and just have the other 3 guys fire away. Maybe it hits off of one of them and bounces in.

It really is true. If they were even at 15 % it would do wonders |

I'd rather haul couches and other back breaking pieces of furniture than watch the Rangers power play. |

Anything below 10% is an absolute embarrassment. |
