Recap blog will be up later today, still recovering from Bat Mitzvah got updates throughout from friends of mine at the party as my phone was required to be put in a hermitically sealed chamber
Even if you sign those guys, they will still have $ left over correct? MacD and Step will be the highest hits. Clowe is a risk now, if he can stay healthy I'd explore it but within reason. - Blueshirts4ever
I cant believe any would entertain signing Clowe. Just a dumb move. I would not explore it at all.

The only reason i say this is b/c of what they gave SJ...Slats doesn't like to lose on trades although I have a feeling he can recoop a pick or two before the draft

I wouldn't mind him back though I have concerns and it would depend wholly on his asking price. I worry about the concussion issues (allegedly) and of course the reported asking price in terms of contract length are an absolute no for me. But on a short term deal I would be interested. He brings a needed element to the lineup when he is in.
I want zero to do with Penner. He only seems to produce when it comes time to earning his next contract and is just a big lug otherwise. I like Cleary but he has as many miles or more on his tires than Clowe.

I love it when you two fight, it reminds me of that ESPN commercial when the Manning boys and Archie are getting a tour of the ESPN studios and they beat each other up when their dad isn't looking...classic!

Iwant someone younger, better, cheaper, less injury prone, who doesn't cost us a 2nd rounder. And yes, all of the above can be had over Clowe. . Like him for the 2013 Rangers don't get me wrong, but beyond? Hell. No.
He might be right. So whats the remedy? Either Nash stands up for himself or someone else does, be it a Dorsett or Asham. I still don't feel like the Rangers have a healthy hatred for Boston, maybe a real message needs to be sent.

I agree and felt the same way during the Caps series. Whether Nash sticks up for himself or Dorsett or Ash does it IDC. Point is you stick up for your teammates, goaltender. Tired of extra whacks at hanks hands and liberties taken on skill players. Need to send that message. If anyone so much as looked at Mess the wrong way Adam Graves was right there to take care of it. Loved that part of that 94 team.

I also loved how the 94 team could score on the powerplay. I really liked that part.

Honestly, I don't think I've seen much of the big bad bruins this series. I'd say its more the size and strength the rangers need to do a better job dealing with.
