It is ironic, if Dan Blackburn's career didn't end at like 22, the Rangers might not have ever given Hank a chance in New York

The SENS and PENS in a 1-0 defensive battle. Who woulda thunk it?

Mind Blowing. The refs were looking right at the play.

Unfortunately the Pens are on the wrong side of that score.

That should be a major solely because it is Matt Cooke.

That goal is all Malkin's fault I think, missed Alfredson completely

Does anyone watching the Pens-Sens game think that we lack some serious hockey IQ on our team, is it youth or is it failure of development? I defended our youth to no end but when are they gonna pay off?

This empty feeling sucks, I don't think I have anything left emotionally

They lack a true #1 center and a power play quarterback; two very difficult positions to acquire. Rangers are never bad enough to draft a legitimate top flight center lately and when they had that rare chance, in the 2003(Getzlaf) & 2006(Giroux) drafts, they dropped the ball.

Otherwise, it is very difficult to acquire an elite center through trade o free agency.

Frustrated as I am, I think this team is good enough to beat the Bruins.

When I think empty feeling with the rangers I think the years from 98 to pre lockout. That's some lean years right there. At least every year we are contending and making the playoffs. Not saying thats good enough, but it is very different then the past right now

Im not being combative here, but i just don't get how we're not even eliminated yet and you seem defeated.

If anything this team, with this coach, is resilient. They're at their best when there backs are against the wall. And after today, here we are again

I'd also say our announcers are better. Maybe I'm reaching but yeah, I prefer Rosen over Jack Edwards.

Where has Boston dominated these games? They took advantage of Rangers mistakes and have the edge in the goaltending battle. But aside from the overtime period in Game 1 and today's third period, the Rangers have stayed with Boston.

And were the superior team by far in the second period despite being outscored 2 - 1.

We all want to see them win a title but these aren't dark days at all. Dark days are when they boasted the biggest payroll and missed the playoffs every year. This is a team that is flawed but overall not that bad. They need certain elements to round out but I don't see an awful team here at all.

Outshot them 19-6 in the second and a double goal post shot by Stepan. That early third period goal by Marchand broke their spirit, to their discredit of course.

Yeah, but I can understand. That was a deflating goal for us and they were the ones working their asse$ off in the second. A goal that never should have happened but it did. The important thing now is how we bounce back at home after that game.

Neil was falling there. I can't blame Orpik on that. Too bad as Neil is an important player and he looked hurt leaving the game.
