i agree with mostly all of this

i dont really like Lucic or Chara, but i know i'd love them if they were on my team

I also like Girardi and Mac D from the Rangers. The only person i truly hate on the Rangers is Torts. I hate him for different reasons that saver though, i just hate his antics and his f'ing weasel face everytime something happens, that he doesn't agree with, which is every 11 seconds.

For instance, why would he say that crap about Hagelin on the PP? Is it true? Sure. Does he have to throw the guy under the bus like that? I don't pretend to know the first damn thing about how his players feel about him, but if my boss did something like to me, i would jackslap him in the mouth.

I would like him better if the power play wasn't for the dogs.

Henrik is too pretty for me. I don't really care for him. He's never done or said anything, i think i just dislike him cause i know he's pulled more azz than I could even dream about.

I said this earlier and I think it is true. Torts knows Hagelin has thick skin. I think his message wasn't as much about Hagelin himself as much as it might have been about the PP itself. Yes, the comments were specifically directed at Hags but we know how Torts operates. My guess is he made the PP struggles more about himself and Hagelin as opposed to the top guys (Nash, Richards, etc.) and their failures. It's his deflection technique. He also said later that he loves Hags as a player and just doesn't know why he isn't good on the PP.

Torts has done everything possible to deflect any criticism away from Nash and Richards because he realizes how important they can be to the team in the playoffs and understands their respective struggles are weighing heavily on them. Torts has no problems making himself look like a douche and indirectly sparing his players from criticism. Last year it was the short press conferences and this year he is mixing it up and digging deep into his bag of tricks.

I don't know many dogs that would want to be associated with this PP. Even animals have standards.

I don't know why does that stuff. Some kind of motivational thing, who knows.

People who aren't tort guys use those words as more fodder against him. I wonder if he has a pr guy that says to lighten up a bit

And he has never once said or done anything to create controversy. If he had won two or three Cups I could see how he'd be almost as hated as Crosby.

He just reminds me of one of those people that have never experienced the ugly side of life. He's a pretty boy, guitar playing, rich, professional athlete. I think i like people with a little more mud on them. I'm sure he busted his ass to get where he is, but i like to pretend otherwise.

I like the David Clarkson / John Madden types that grew up impoverished, borrowing old equipment from their friends, just so the refs would let them on the ice to play. Better story line i guess. Everyone loves an underdog.

But only one of them is one of the best players in the NHL. Joel is toiling away in obscurity in Sweden. How tough must it be for him? I'd bet whenever the two of them went out trolling the clubs the women would be disappointed that he wasn't the goaltender for the Rangers.

. My wife was watching some stupid fantasy tv show the other day about that Olympic swimmer guy. He is douche chillingly self centered and they follow this tool around with a camera crew, and his younger brother lives with him. You can just tell the younger brother has never been anything more than a +1, for his brother. Probably the same way for Joel.

It's wierd how hank was a 7th rd pick. Not sure how he slipped. Just seems that European goalies fall through the cracks somehow. Wasn't renne a later pick too?

Anyone think he's available for the power play? I'd even try the guy in the Flames jersey at this point ......

It is ironic, if Dan Blackburn's career didn't end at like 22, the Rangers might not have ever given Hank a chance in New York
