As a whole the D did a good job of keeping the Bruins away from Hank and to the perimeter. They also did well to move the puck to the forwards in the transition game. The problem was too many breakdowns and Hank wasn't able to bail them out. The one that stung the most was Girardi's failure to tie up Marchand on the eventual game-winner.
- gkmkiller

The Boychuk game winner was awful on several accounts. The defensive coverage in the zone was awful, the inability to clear the front of the net and Hank's postioning on the shot.

Just a very out of character performance, especially from two reliable Rangers: Lundqvist and Girardi.

TOO BAD FOR YOU & YOUR LIKE! Did you notice that when you a few minutes ago posted "Shutup" to my comment that CALLY's first period goal was the most important goal of the playoffs so far; that TORTS said the same thing to Pierre McGuire?
I may be annoying to some of the viciouslike Torts lovers here like you, who all probably like him only because of his unprofessionalism & low class stature that you present yourselves to be as here. But I know MORE about hockey than you or your type will ever know, from 38 years & still counting of playing goal on a competitive level; and by being a Rangers fan for 45 years & counting, despite having to know that such a class NHL organization has types like you & your like following them.
- RangerSaver

-----------

This one is what I'm talking about. I'm sure any self respecting hockey fan would be insulted from this

Your "type"- could be assumed as racist(not in this case)but insulting nonetheless

I know more hockey then- could be assumed we are being belittled

At the very least it is inciting or provoking

Ok. Somehow you aren't getting how this works.

You hit the "!" at the top of that post. And it goes into a queue so that I can click the "X" on the post and review it. Then I can see the guy's ban history. I can also follow a link to the full conversation.

What you gave me looks bad. But since I can't link to the post I can't do anything. I'm not reading the whole thread. Just look at the post because you know where it is. And hit the exclamation point button at the top right of the post. Please. Thank you.

I don't agree with you on this. I think we can contend for a Cup with the majority of this roster and coaching staff. I would absolutely support the hiring of a PP specialist to coach up the man advantage. The Kings dominant run (coming on the heels of a mediocre 82-game regular season I might add) aside it's rare for any team to steamroll through the postseason. Look no further than our Cup win in 1994: starting in the ECF I'd bet fans were on the verge of giving up on that team that year hundreds of times before they found a way and got the win. Just because we haven't dominated teams doesn't mean they aren't good enough to win a Cup. Every single team alive in the playoffs has flaws and has had games where they looked beatable.

There's a lot of good pieces in place. I think a difference maker for the Rangers would be a rush-leading d-man. Doughty and Voynov can spearhead the Kings attack by leading rushes, not just joining rushes but by leading them and creating chances. So can Keith and Leddy. So can Letang. Teams that can do that increase the likelihood of going deep in the playoffs. A guy like Yandle would really help the Rangers. He's an offensive d-man with years of experience playing in a system of defensive emphasis. That would open a ton of space for the forwards to work and it would create so much more on the PP as well.

I find the guy annoying that stands on a city street corner with signs saying Joe Biden is dead and has been replaced with a bizarro Russian spy look alike, but i just laugh. I dont take him seriously, report him to the police, and try to get him arrested.

I wouldn't say I am insulted. I do find his comments frustrating and sometimes annoying along with those of just about every other poster here on occasion. But I've never hit the "!" button on any comment I've ever read on this site. This is the internet and I expect to encounter a lot of stupidity.

What sucks is I don't remember the discussions on this board getting quite so "intense" until the last few months. I don't know why that is or why it has to be. That is getting frustrating. We all have opinions but we aren't giving enough respect to each others opinions. I say "we" because I consider all Rangers fans to be part of a single team with the common goal or desire to see the Rangers win the Cup. If we can't get along here what does that say about us? And TJ, I am not directing the last part of this specifically at you; I am directing that to all of us on this board. I just happened to have attached it to the initial response since it segued perfectly into this point.

If he did that when he was still in the game at 5-2, I am going to go and epic rant.
