Everyone has there opinions and I'm fine with that however, why do most think that Vanek and Miller will bring us "nothing" if we trade them? I'm sure there are teams that want one or the other. The question you need to ask yourself is.................. is our GM capable enough to get the max for both. No way should Darcy still be in control of this team and he must certainly is, seems like Terry and Ted hang on every word he says.

They have accomplished something together in ANA, and are younger and a better team. Just doesn't make sense IMO to throw money like that at anyone on the Sabres

I don't think he will get us nothing, but I don't think he gets us a top-6 forward, a number 1, and a prospect. I think he could get us a #1 and a couple prospects or A top-6 forward and a prospect. I'd prefer the latter. We have enough picks for guys who will be good in a couple years. We need someone who can play now.

You're opinion, you have an issue with how much both him and Miller make. Vanek would lead any team in scoring he got traded to, both are elite players yes I said elite they are just lost here in Buffalo due to our clueless GM and how he has no clue how to tun this team.

I agree and if we are ever going to get over this hump, we need Darcy gone to do it. He lacks vision among other things. Very sad how many good players that have left because of how bad this team has become.

I like Miller, Vanek on the other hand would rarely lead any team in scoring. This was the 2nd out of 6 years he lead our sub par team in scoring. He has ranked as low as 82nd in the league in scoring just a few years ago, which is barely a first line player. He's really good. Just not a super star IMO. He's like Jeff Carter

If we could get a true #1 type center for Miller I wouldn't mind keeping Vanek for now and if we still suck next season trading him at the deadline. If we end up being a playoff caliber team maybe Vanek agrees to re-sign.

IMO Homie they are elite they are just stuck in HOCKEY HELL and because of there contracts get most of the blame. If that offer of 64 mill was made, do you blame Vanek for saying no? I don't he will get that or more on a better team.
