Beaulieu will be ready sometime next year to replace Markov, Tinordi and Patyern also add size with some grit. Loosing Emelin for the beginning of the season could be a blessing in disguise, giving the kids a shot right off the bat.

Stalberg anyone? Or Bickell?

On a contender team, Plekanec is not a #1 center.

The same way Koivu never was a #1 center.

If you guys had sucked I would have bet Plek would be a BHawk at the deadline.

So Scuderi wouldn't fit, as he's not producing enough offensively?

edit: not trying to put you in a box here, just curious as to who you'd like to see

Pete said Talented Dman, and I think all the talented Dmen are out of our reach unless we draft them.

But who I would like to see added to the team is a different question altogether. Does it have to be someone who is UFA?

That's what I said at the beginning of the season. Something like Saad and a 1st, or in my wildest dreams, Terevainen.

What's with all the Christian references when speaking of Reimer? He's a good Christian à la Mike Fisher?

Most of them are old, and browsing the list of guys around 30 instead of the 35 mark there isn't anyone that pops out at me.

Scuderi would be a good pick for the short term.

One guy I wish they had on their team that is not too expensive but still unobtainable is Boychuk.

He's pretty underrated.

Well, maybe not underrated, but you rarely notice him, or talk about him but he's pretty good.

Yes, but unlike Tebow, Reimer actually follows the ideas and is humble.
