Never was a FPS fan. Stopped at Perfect Dark.

and yeah, Contra was amazing. They made a Contra 4 for DS a couple of years ago. I've grown less and less patient, damn that game is crushingly difficult.

That was the first game I ever played online. I never had a PC as a younger guy. Just my Dreamcast. But I remember plugging my Sprint account into the Dreamcast and having at her on Unreal Tournament.


Remember Soldier of Fortune? Hands down my favourite shooter ever, I used to be pretty damn good at it. Always get kicked out of rooms for "cheating". Good times.

Soldier of Fortune was OK. But Half-Life totally dominated everything else for me. What an amazing game.

Well, it was a sarcastic jab at your argument. No one will tell you that the story is the reason they play Mario games. Good gameplay and fun puzzles don't always need an engrossing story.


And IMO, grown men judging others on their gaming taste because realistic blood and going all pow pow make them feel good about their masculinity are the ones taking the 12 year old route.

Dreamcast was truly groundbreaking. There wasn't a system that did what that system did when it came out. Besides Wii U and it's tea tray controller.
