Sound like we are giving up a lot for these players. However with the youth we have on the team, the roster is nearly set. Plus the first round picks are no longer going to be in the top 15.

No thanks on Luongo. We already made one catastrophic mistake on a goaltender contract. No need to acquire another one.

Trading Luongo and picking RDP was the start of everything that (for the most part) went wrong for over a decade. If he had a $5-6Mil/yr contract for >5yrs, a different story but he's not going anywhere unless they find a way to void his contract and start anew.
