And Myers will be too. They both has awful seasons. Derek Roy also has a very good career to look at as well. And I hate Derek Roy

Roy is a fraud.

I don't mind Hodgson actually. Not saying he's a cornerstone player but he's not bad. He'd fit in well on the Penguins among other teams.
- HopintheCordoba

I remember Vancouver fans claiming he is a better player than JT. That changed fast once they traded him

Hodgson can't play a lick in his own end. It's why the Canucks had no reservations about moving him.

Give me names if you disagree. What slop are you going to put down? Jason Pominville doesn't play for Buffalo anymore.

What did Kunitz and Dupuis do when they were 22, 23 like Ennis or Hodgson playing on sub par teams? I would also keep Foligno over either of them because of what he will turn into

He is still very young at the ripe age of 23 and can be very good, but lets not fool ourselves. He has had back to back subpar seasons - including a horrid one this year. While he didn't have the year he was supposed to, average our Staal's numbers to a full season - he posts a career high in points.

He's a number 2. The defense will come. Him playing with another defensive gem in Vanek also doesn't help

It doesn't matter what they did back then. The fact is this, Dupuis at 34 or whatever and Kunitz at 33 or 34 are better than both now. I said they would be the second and third best players on Buffalo right now and they would be.

What they will turn into, or what they could turn into? I'm still trying to figure out what Drew Stafford will turn into after hearing the same thing a few years back.

Tavares is the 3rd best in the NHL right now behind 87 and 71. Championships will follow JT

They might put up Stafford like numbers in Buffalo. Ennis had a 30 pt year playing with 3rd and 4th line forwards or rookies all season. I would take Hodgson or Ennis over either of them now, yesterday or tomorrow. Kunitz is a good player, so is Dupuis, but they don't produce like that outside of Pitt. Kunitz had 1 good year before coming there, Dupuis was a throw in

Some say He is behind Stamkos, Ovi and Giroux. I disagree. STamkos is a great goal scorer but not a complete player like JT. Giroux is not as good as JT and Ovi disappears too much.

Until recently I thought Stamkos was better. Tavares changed my mind the more I watched him. I wish he was a Sabre more than anyone besides Crosby

Your just spoiled watching 71 as your 2nd center. Your telling me Kyle Turris is better?

Tavares concerned me early when he was drafted. His skating was something that could have held him back. Complete non issue now. Tavares is amongst the best players now.

No i'm not. I was semi making a joke. Do you really think Hodgson wouldn't be an upgraxe over Turris?

Lineup changes as it pertains to the forward unit for game 2:

Kennedy slots up to the third line. Bennett on the 4th line. Morrow gets a night off.

I don't. Turris isn't a tire fire in his own end and his offensive numbers are in Hodgsons neighborhood.

yeah dude, other than 87 or 71, if i could pick anyone it would be JT. stamkos is an insane pure goal scorer, and id listen to the argument for him. but tavares just exudes stud. all the talent and intangibles in the world. as the team around him improves, everyone around the league will take notice.
