Speaking of buyouts ... someone the other day on XM radio brought up a great idea. Give Quebec its team, but tell them they can only sign people that were bought out by their respective teams. That lineup could be pretty interesting when you see the names floating around.

Hope the Isles buyout DP

Thats insane. He's never scored 30.

I'm not the only Penguin fan that would say the same name either. People don't like him on this board because he is a Ranger, but they love the way he plays and his heart. I'd take him over Richards, Nash, Hagelin, Stepan ...

Ooh! Do tell- I'm a big beer fan, always looking for new ones!

Sadly for you its a local beer. Lancaster Brewing Company Black Boar IPA. Dark as a porter but has the taste of an IPA. Great stuff!!

Other than the goalie, Cally is easily the next player I'd take of the Rags. I love his game.

Callahan is a good player. He's not great. Nash is a great player. He was the 1st overall pick for a reason

Stat is meaningless. There is no league wide standard on how they award hits. It's different in all 30 arenas.

Callahan is their best, you can't measure his heart or leadership. I'd take him 1st off of that team in the forward group

That sounds incredible! My two favorite types of beers are porters/stouts and IPAs! I'll have to grab some the next time I'm in Pennsylvania for a Pens game.

He would be the best player on a lot of NHL teams. He is an annual 35 goal scorer who hits and kills penalties. If he ever got to play on a good team he would be even better. He's a star player
- sbroads24

Doesn't Nash have 1 point in the playoffs? He needs to be better, especially on a team where he is one of the only goal scorers. He was solid in the regular season, but if he can't come up big in clutch times, then he's nothing special. He doesn't have that ability to take over games like other stars do.

So, 30 is the defining goal total of what makes a player? Dupuis nor Kunitz have scored 30 either and you wouldn't take them.

Dupuis would be a good fit for the Isles

Exactly. That is why I take him first over any Rag forward and its not close.

Not really because they wouldn't score 30 outside of PA. Neither of them or on Cally's or Nash's level

You can't have him....

Am I the only one that thinks I worry about keeping Duper over Iggy, Morrow or Murray? I don't even think it's close.

Actually, they are on Cally's level, because he has never scored 30 either.

You seem so hellbent saying that Nash is this monster. You are on the wrong board trying to see him over Callahan. We know who is better.

How is he better? He plays 2nd line minutes against lesser competition and scores less? Both play D and kill penalties.
