Had they come out and lost 5-1, I would have been OK with their effort.

How they threw this away, and Phaneuf completely sh1t the bed just makes this about as bad as it gets right now... next to losing in OT, which would be the icing on that sh1t sandwich.

My thoughts exactly

Thank you for being level-headed.

Win or lose... it's awesome we made it this far.

Still... hockey gods owe it to us.

Go Leafs go!

- Tee-Dot

Like I said. I was proud of what they did, now it's so bad it's gone to what they blew.

We needed that call. If we had that call, I doubt they get the second goal.
- Compeyson

any call would have done... bruins got away with so much in that 3rd...

sarcasm?

Not even slightly. I watched as much of your series as possible and the refs were brutal

to be fair, that's probably to make up for yesterday......rangers certainly had the "officiating advantage" in game 6
- sensarmy_11

Lil bit I agree. But the caps got away with alot yesterday too.

I think most will agree the officiating is pretty bad up and down these games

Refs blatantly miss calls for us all series. Every controversial call was called in the pens favor, giving them 5 on 3s. Those killed us
- mighty13duck

officiating across the league is atrocious, even IF the bruins won, the league would turn a blind eye to the blatant elbow to the head by Jacobs team.

well yes i saw the two elements and i meant to write both elements but i got lazy.

either way, 2 goals in under 1:30 with their goalie pulled might best a 3-0 series lead with a 3-0 lead in game 7. probably not, but it's very close imo.

again, gl.

- rangerdanger94

It isn't close.

This is the youngest team in the league, coming back from 3-1, playing on the road in game 7 against the team that is 2 years removed from the cup and has almost completely dominated them since that cup...

So, yeah, Carlyle made a horrible coaching decision and the Leafs choked and threw it away...

All considered, it is not remotely close to the collapse of the Bruins that year.
