I still think he is a damn good player, who seemed to save himself for the big run this year.

OV seems to usually be one of the few that gives his all in all the games I've watched of the Caps over the years.

He has fire in him, and deserves to be sorrounded by better players. Talent alone is overrated, and that is what the Caps are. I do wonder if he wants to stay in Washington at this point.

I agree that Backstrom is not a #1 center. Riberio is very soft. I like some of their energy guys, but not a lot of guys who can generate offense on the forwards. Mike Green is very, very overrated.

He seems more like a Boston Bruin, to be honest.

I like Carlson and Alzner, not sure what happened to Orlov, thought he showed promise last year. A lot of money tied to finesse guys with a bunch of years on their contracts.

Not sure about the Erat trade at the deadline, another less then physical guy.
