honestly i'm turning the TV off if the game goes to OT.

I hear ya. I usually mute the volume, and it seems to lessen the tension.

My stomach is in knots all day

This will be a rough evening to get through I can guarentee that. I've already begun the blanket biting

Anyway, 2-1 win...MDZ gw ppg

- Slimtj100

If they win and proceed to round two maybe we should all pitch in and buy you a new Jets blanket. I doubt there will be much left of the current one by the end of a series with either Boston or Toronto.

when post-season is over, trust me, it will be covered in excrutiating detail, but that's for down the road. Not today.

I agree Jan, and will only relax, watch, and enjoy our win tonight.
But if there is one player that loves playing for Torts the most, it is Richards. I liked the fact that Torts held him to 9:30 of icetime in game 6, to go more with those who have done more for us in this series. But due to his past playoffs successes, he may need him to play up front only on our powerplay (2 for 26), especially if Nash is hurting &/or just not performing close up to his level. Richards has never lost a game 7 in the playoffs. Moore should be at the point on the PP and not Richards if he is used on it.
Let's leave the off-season proposals off the table tonight until after our season ends, which I hope is in a win in the NHL's last game of this season. We will debate then things like what you posted here Jan in response to what "RangerDanger" said on Richards compared to me with Torts. If a new coach is needed, I already gave him my choice of Doug Weight (if he was available) in response to him first on May 4th (after our game two 1-0 OT loss, in which we were outshot 8-0 in that 8:00 of OT).

A serious question even if it does sound dooshy: Do you keep notes of when you say certain things on this board or do you go back and look? I've noticed on many occasions that you reference past comments you've made to other specific posters. I only ask because my memory just isn't that good any more. It may have been in my long forgotten youth but not any more. Again, I'm just asking and I don't mean that as an offense in any way. It's just that you either have a good recollection or you spend some time doing some research.

Could be a politician. They just assume the audience they are speaking to are too lazy to go back dig up the actual statement. Making that assumption, allows you to use previous statements, that may or may not have been uttered, to your advantage.

That is a cagey trick. Since I don't know that he is a politician I will give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he is accurately replaying past conversations. However if I find out he is in fact a politician, I will never believe any of his retellings of past discussions.

John Kerry is the master of the flip flop. One second he won the Medal of Honor in Vietnam, then he wasn't even there, and then he was following a platoon, writing a book. In the end, no one knew what was what. It was brilliant. Do you think John Kerry is a Ranger fan?

He was yesterday but when asked today he said he was a Capitals fan. His allegiance seems to change depending on which team is at home. Strange.
