Its amazing, and frustrating , that I don't think to many discussed how much heart this team showed in the last 5 minutes yesterday. Boyle huge blocks. Laying it all on line by seemingly everyone. Nope we're still focused on the struggles and negatives

That's what I say, too! NHL has it's head screwed on wrong yet again. We are against all head shots, they're dangerous. Also, hits against defenseless players will not be tolerated. Crosschecks to the face of a player kneeling on the ice are okay in our book.

I thought Fehr's hit was more doign to warrant and NHL review as he looked at brassard and then shot up his elbow to his face.

Yea he's pushign the right buttons but I dont like trying to win every game 1-0. I just think its way to hard to do consistantly.

I missed that one. WTF NHL. Now the players are in a bad position. If Dorsett crosses the line now or any player they will be punished for it. If the league would just do the right thing the players wouldn't have to police themselves. The league still doesn't get it.

NHL showed it's @ss, early on this postseason, when they didn't throw the book at Montreal after Game 3. The Department of Safety is anything but, it's just a waste of money. NHL will never get suspensions right, it's not like they have, in the past anyway.

But our PP does suck and our offense needs to show up a bit. We can't go into Washington tonight and try and win 1-0 again.

Only thing I say is about Nash is its not liek Ovi is lighting it up. Both teams are really shutting down the top guys which is a good sign. I just wish the team was a bit more aggressive and wouldnt sit on a 1-0 for the entire 3rd period. But! Unliek our struggles in the regular season the effort is there. The heart and desire is there by literally everyone. And I love it.

I think its just a major concern going into tonight's game. We cant expect the Caps to get 0 PPs again. We all know the heart and desire of this team and love it. And I know we wil lsee plays liek that again tonight. The question marks are going to be the talk and concern until the puck drops.

When theyre 0-7 on the PP at home, its hard to over look.

However, Im proud that the team kept it together and didnt take any penalties yesterday. That right there is proof that the Caps 5 on 5 arent the best team in this series.

In Game 7 though, I would watch out for those Caps players in the black and white. Ovi vs. Sid in the ECF, its Bettman's dream... that will be his Stanley Cup.
