it was so un-ranger like wasnt it?
- Blueshirts4ever

You figured the Caps would cut it to 3-2 and the Rangers would have to survive some frantic last minute to win.

Staal back in this series or no?
- TrueBlue9182

They need to shut down staal for the season. We are talking about a young man with a history of concussions and now blurry vision leaves him vulnerable out there.

What a game. Best game they have played all year, that's including the power play stuggles. Lundqvist was at his very best tonight. Mcdonagh and Girardi were amazing. The bottom 6 chipped in and Brassard continued his out of this world play. Great game. Won't sleep tonight but for good reason.

Torts is safe for the next 10 weeks at least, as I had indirectly posted before the game. But admit that you were also worried after we lost the first 2 games & would have to win 4 of the last 5, with game 7 being in Washington. You were even exchanging possible replacements for him that day with me. (You liked my choice of Doug Weight (NYI ass't. & powerplay specialist coach if he was available), & I believe you said Larry Robinson, & maybe Keenan who is heading to the KHL now).

The "humor" was because "Blueshirts F." made that response "not so fast" (or in slightly different words) to a member who had posted "Bye bye Boston and Washington" when the Leafs & Rangers were both leading by 3 goals; us 3-0 after the 2nd; but the Leafs 4-1 with under 10:00 left in the 3rd.

- RangerSaver

my reply to that had Washington boldfaced out of respect for the Caps explosiveness...

So it is official...Game 1 Thursday, Game 2 Sunday at 3pm. I am kind of surprised they have 2 days off like that

I just can't see him playing against the Bruins with some of the animals they throw out there. Moore and Eminger need to play well and eat some minutes or the Bruins will wear out the Rangers d.

2 for 28 can't happen against Boston, but oh man is Lundqvist in some kind of zone right now.

The only plus side is the Bruins powerplay doesn't scare the shyt out of me like the Caps...doesn't mean it won't produce but maybe it allows the team to play a bit more aggressive to

The Bruins and Rangers both have crap PPs. Watch they'll both be 40% in the series.

I can't imagine anyone playing playoff hockey with compromised vision. It's dangerous and short sighted

I don't doubt this team. Unlike you do broski. I accept losses for what they are, 1 game. You have fantasized about this coach being gonzo every second of every day since you've been here, not me. I discussed that with you as part of my olive branch to you.

And all I know is the next loss by this team, and it will happen, you know damn well you ll be on your soapbox platform of "tortrex" or whatever stupid nickname you'll have for him, that he needs to go. I lost all respect for you and anything positive you say is shallow beyond belief. You should be ashamed of yourself and I'm embarassed that you have season tickets. I'm sorry if the truth hurts

Go write a book on how to be a little less hostile and a Lil more humble. Lord knows every post you put forth is a freakin book

But with all that said, your a ranger fan so lets go rangers!

I agree. I don't know how he's feeling and how bad his vision is, but obviously it's not good.

I wouldn't want him out there if he has doubts, most importantly for him but also for the team. You want guys confident out there. It would be awesome of he came back but I'm not counting on it.

You could see after game 3, the kid is psychologically spent. Serious injuries in the last few seasons. If he can come back next year like he was playing this season before that Philly game, I'd take it. I was at that game and I was scared, the way he was writhing on the ice.

Certainly was very scary. I say just get him ready, prepared for next year. To risky to have him in there at the moment
