Thing is, Pacioretty was #1 in points this season.

So his center must not have been so bad then, no? Or does he do it all by himself like Kessel was supposed to do when he was traded to TOR?

The Leafs wheel of excuses will have only one excuse.

They're so young.... sooo sooo young!

once their core of 26/27-year-olds hits their prime... LOOK OUT

I understand your concerns, but why do we never hear about Pacioretty' 6 year contract?
To me, they both had a bad year, they're in the same boat. But it's so easy to hit on DD...

Pacioretty is 6'2''...there is hope

Desharnais is small, plays small and was worryingly ineffective this year.
This team is too small, I'm starting to think Bergevin isn't aware of that.

Look, Desharnais AND Pacioretty, I believe had a poor season. And terrible playoffs.

Let's see what they do next year.

Like I said yesterday, Desharnais is effective playing with two powerforwards who crash the net and let him control the puck behind the net. He lost both this season.

Cuz he's small. That may be unfair, but it's the case.

I'm not saying that.

I just want the Habs to get bigger and meaner. I have nothing against Desharnais, but I'm just tired of this team being completely gassed come playoffs time.

I think there would of been a bigger window to evaluate the team and make changes via trade.

It's early to say that. He added some size in the offseason, might do it again. The draft will also be a good indication.
