i would certainly hope he explores trade options as well. not saying he should go give David Clarkson $30 million or anything but there have to be at least some third-line guys/4th d types out there who can make the team a bit bigger and tougher.

I'm pretty sure he will. Guys like Blunden / Armstrong / Halpern / White are all replaceable.

I'd rather see a good product on the ice with upside and future potential then see the team BLOW UP to try and add a superstar here and there and see no chemistry and missed playoffs due to it.
