I remember when I was 9, my father made me fill the sheet for his office's playoffs pool, at which more than 100 people were participating. I had to predict the results for the 4 rounds. I made him win the pool, so he used the money to bring me to the Habs game when Trent McLeary received a puck to the throat.

I will probably never repeat that feat.

I followed hockey but still wasn't a Habs fan. My father was (and still is ) a Nordiques fan, so he made me watch other teams. Liked Bill Guerin and Tony Amonte a lot, without apparent season.

"Officially" became a Habs fan two years later, when Théodore had his big season. My father was (and still is) disappointed.
