While I agree they must get bigger, Plek is right. The reason they lost is the battle Anderson vs Price, not their size. Switch the goalies, Habs win in 5, if not 4.

the problem is that when the Habs run into a hot goalie who stones their transition game and PP, they don't have the personnel to adjust. take a look at game 1. 50 shots, but 50 shots playing the same way. there were zero adjustments. they don't have the size up front to manufacture goals by getting in close consistently. that's why we only scored 9 goals in 5 games. it's not just that Anderson was amazing. |
