I would be fine with trading him and that would open up Lupul for the C.

Why do people put so much emphasis on who has a letter on the jersey?
If you switch the A and C around with Lupul what changes? Are the leafs better? Do they score more? Does the music in the room change? will that make others play better?

Why do people put so much emphasis on who has a letter on the jersey?
If you switch the A and C around with Lupul what changes? Are the leafs better? Do they score more? Does the music in the room change? will that make others play better?

It's more that if a true number 1 d came in you can't have him wearing it. It is also the last vestige of the Wilson era. Sportsnet also talked about how last year he was tuned out by guys and he had to tone it down this year. |

Back in those days the teams owned the kids from minor hockey days, but each team had a candian junior affiliate. Orr was automatically the LEafs property but when he was 13 the LEafs allowed the Bruins to obtain his rights. Oh yes, the stupidity of LEafs management is huge! |

We don't know either way , but I would prefer that Phaneuf be a normal guy on the team, rather than be elevated before he should be. He's a good guy to have but he isn't as good as he is being made out to be based on his role and ice time. |

That guy seems to have huge confidence issues.
He is a solid stay at home guy on one poop, hitting and doing everything right.
The next shift he handles the puck like it's a grenade and puts himself in terrible position causing turnovers.
