It's quite clear now to most that the thing the LEafs need most right now is a true number one d man. I like Phaneuf and he is valuable but not a number one, just isn't. I haven't seen a clean first pass from him this series and he doesn't control the pace in any way.

I think so, depends how many years are left, but for a time it might work. Really, he should be making 4-5 but...
