What does this mean?

'cause nobody ever just hands gumdrops to me.

Sure, maybe on Hallowe'en, but the other 364 days, no gumdrops.

Last night was heart breaking, but to stay positive we were the better team that game. Series isn't over yet, it's going to be tough but Boston isn't as good as everyone makes them out to be.

I wouldn't mind it if we had Komi playing a few times before the playoffs but I bet he would make some classic Komi mistakes.

Yeah, Boston has holes in their game to be sure.

Nearly 100 shots in two games and we were absolutely dominating for good stretches of each game in Toronto. Experience is definitely the determining factor here.

Getting three more on Anderson could be a tall order now for MTL

If it weren't for the fact that we're trying to protect him from injury at the NHL level, I'd be all for it.

There's no reason Komi can't be a decent bottom pairing, stay-at-home defenseman. He'll get a reasonable deal somewhere out west and have another 3-4 good years in him.

Also to delve in further to why we lost the games... We lost the special teams battle, that was the only game so far that we have. Turnovers weren't so bad this game, and we were aggressive. Our PK let us down.

And on the last play, it wasn't only Dion's fault, Kessel made a bad play he should have kept it deep (too his credit he back checked hard and picked up the other Bruin), O'byrne should have layed out and poked Kreijic's stick he didn't even really cover the pass too well. And honestly that's one Reimer has to have.

I thought Reimer's wife giving Phaneuf's fiance the death stare was hilarious though, cheered me up a bit.

Rask was really good too, we should have been in front of him more, although we weren't too bad for that. I agree, it's a matter of experience.

I agree, and I like your thinking. I don't think winning 3 in a row is likely, but I want them to win at least one more. We're getting valuable experience for our team and it'll help next year.

Also, I think if we are going to win the next one, it's going to strongly rely on Reims.
he's played solid but we need him to play better, and maybe steal a game for us.

I'm worried about which team will show up for the next game. They might not play with much heart, like game one. totally deflated from the loss. but I doubt it. these guys don't always roll over easily.

guess we'll see. but I'm trying to stay positive to the bitter end!

Hey guys. I know the end is nigh, but I can't wait to sit down with the boy and girl tomorrow night and show them how a real man watches a hockey playoff game.

My sister died in a kickboxing match vs the top contender of the over 250 LB division of South Western Etobicoke Middle Region Top Tier of the 3rd Tier MMA Amateur division. Thanks for bringing up the memories.
