I've been catching bits and pieces of the games. I know Price has hit a few bumps lately but does losing him create a big glaring weakness or has his play been sub-par anyways?
- markmark

He was good last game and in game 2. But I said that because the team seems less nervous with him back there.

I too hate that phrase because in saying so you take credit from the other team. But i do understand what he is saying there. Leafs made a lot of mental errors so far in this series. Mistakes that these caliber of players are capable of avoiding, but make anyways.

That being said, the fact that Boston is such a good/experienced team allows them to capitalize on these mistakes, and also the fact that they aren't making as many themselves is what's keeping Boston on top.

Much credit to Boston, but the Leafs have definitely came to play for most of this series.

- dragus84

Agreed, it hasn't felt like a 3-1 series. Not to say i am not happy that it is, but it doesnt feel like the B's are up 3-1

damn I hate that line...It drives me NUTS when a team loses and the next thing is we beat ourselves, NOPE, the other team beat you, unless you literally scored on your own net more times then you scored on the opposition net.... then I guess you beat yourselves.

Ok, enough of my rant, have to give it to the Leafs, they are a dang good team, they have impressed me with a lot of the things they have done, and they can gain relentless pressure. Every game has been interesting and i wont be counting my chickens until 4 games are won!

- MrBeanTown

the line gets uttered often because typically, fans spend about 80% of a game focusing on THEIR team. so, you'll see a mistake by Phaneuf, but not the play that forced the error. generally, most errors are forced by good plays from the other team.

When I was in high school, my eyes would produce so much guck while I slept that it would get in my eyelashes and dry shut. I would have to wake up, feel my way to the bathroom, fill up the sink and soak my face for a couple of minutes until the guck softened and I could pull it off my eyelashes.

Go to your doctor and ask to try Flonase. It's the best thing out there.

Trust me.

alright i will .. gonna try over the counter first.. so far i havent taken anything for it this spring.. worst its ever been

I would agree, a few bounces here and there and this could be a very different series. Boston's poise is going a long way in this one.

I hope Leafers can play the same game (maybe a few less mental errors, but same compete level) as they have, and are not too deflated after last night.

I was wondering about that... do you think the people sitting in that section are aware they are sitting by the families of the players?
- Leeman4Gilmour

You would have no idea it is Reimer's wife, but I'm guessing you could at least figure out if you were sitting near Cuthbert.

Waaaaaay back in the day, I used to stand at the box office at Maple Leaf Gardens on game days and wait for extra tickets to go on sale. You could always get a pair of greys in section 93 - they were the seats set aside for the visiting team.

I always made sure I kept it clean.

The Bruins have not impressed me.

No offense, but this is not the cup contender that was sold to us at the beginning of the season. Out of the 135 or so minutes playedin Toronto, we've played better for about 80.

We had two miserable second periods. Yes, we beat ourselves.

- Leeman4Gilmour

i see the Bruins as a team that plays up to or down to the level of their opponent.

as for the Leafs having miserable second periods, that's what separates teams like Montreal and Toronto from teams like Boston and Ottawa right now. those teams aren't having the miserable second periods.

a vet like phaneuf should know not to try and lay a hit in OT.

the right play was to back off, he knows it, everyone knows it.

poop happens, it wasnt exactly a "great play" to chip the puck out, it was a routine play.

Cuthbert always sits up in the last row of reds in the corner so she doesnt have to be bothered and can enter/leave through the suite level. I've sat behind her in a suite there a few times.
