If Geno continues his rash of dumb penalties, you will need Adams or Glass to kill penalties. One of them has to remain in the line-up. While BB has played well givent his chances, it's up to the veterans to play through this series. - pghbirdman
Geno NEEDS to play with more discipline. It's absurd. |

Glad to see Vitale back in... The guy has been able to spark this team with energy after missing games. Love how he hits everything. This is what we need in this series.
TK is always capable of a big game.
Just hope these moves don't hurt PK and faceoffs to bad. - lloyd095
Joe Vitale's Face Off % for the regular season was 61.1%. I don't think he's anything to worry about there.
The PK is always a worry, I'll give you that, but worrying about Vitale in the face off circle is just silly when he's been just as good, if not better, than Jokinen.

Wait... Jokinen is sitting??? That doesn't make sense. I'd rather bench sutter than jokinen |

It pisses me off that iginla continues to skate with malkin I have no idea what bylsma sees that doesn't make him reunite Kunitz-malkin-Neal and move iggy on the right of Sid |

Malkin and Iginla both lead the pens with 6 points |

Tk is the most selfish shooter on our team and with a very shaky Nabby... I like dressing him especially is it's over Glass - lloyd095
You're banking on TK actually hitting the net. That usually doesn't happen. TK tries hard and puts in effort, so do a lot of ppl. Im not expecting much though. He had 1 good yr, other than that he's been a 4th liner.
IF Malkin keeps making dumb plays and taking stupid penalties. I would like to see him ride some pine. |

I really think that it's Sid calling that shot... unfortunately. |

I mean I agree with you. I think it would be nice to get Iginla on Sids line. However, they need a big win tonight and they need to go with whats been working. Kuntiz/Crosby/Dupuis was the best line in the NHL this year so I think they are sticking with it. If Sid didn't get injured and they had more time to play together, I think you see Iginla on Sid's RW, but given the situation I think that's why HCDB is sticking with those 3 |

I agree with putting Iggy on on the 1st and reuniting Kunitz/Geno/Neal. The 2nd line would get a boost of energy with Kunitz there and the 1st line can keep that energy with Duper. Unfortunately, as much as I love Iginla, it seems like right now he is just a good shot and not much else for us. |

I love the energy Iginla brings to the Power Play. Reminds me of Sullivan's ability to slow everything down and then suddenly make a move. The difference is that Iggy can actually score. |

I love him on the PP. I just wish 5-5 he had some more giddyup and toughness with the puck. But I think with Sid, he could focus on getting to the right spots and let Sid and Duper get him those shots. |

If Sid was playing at the same level he was before the broken jaw, I'd have no problem with that line staying together because they were absolutely dominant. With Sid at 60%, I think they should do what's best for the team. I think it's a big problem if a player dictates who he plays with....I'm not convinced that's the case. We'll never know. |

They should have Iginla Jokinen and Dupuis and make sid center the 4th line
And where has Bennett gone? |

That is what is more frustrating about not putting Kunitz with Neal and Geno... Iginla, Jokinen & Dupuis played well together. You gotta thing substituting Crosby for Jokinen would work out, no? |

Id love to see Beau back in...hes got skill and is discipline with the puck and wont make stupid mistakes. And I think a line of 19/36/48 sounds pretty good to me as a 4th line. Or let Jussi center line 3 and put Sutter down on the 4th with the other 2.

Hearing the comments from the Mike Gillis press conference sound remarkably what I fear that Shero's press conference will sound like next week if the Pens are bounced out of this round.
Basically talking about a decision process on Vignault, Luongo likely gone this summer, resetting the franchise, the changing landscape of the league and having to keep up with that... etc etc etc... |

I wonder if Vancouver buys Luongo out. I doubt there was serious trade discussion at the deadline, but Gillis was trying to make a market with his comments.
You look at Vancouver's roster - you could come to the conclusion its not good enough to make it to the second round of the play-offs. I said SJ sweep before that series because I just don't get excited about the Canucks as a team. |

I didn't see anything to warrant him out of the line up. He seemed always up to the challenge of being physical on the forecheck and making smart plays in our end. I don't mind TK in this spot to be honest. I think he brings the same type of physicalness as Glass with more speed and skill. Maybe not hitting as hard as glass but Tk is a hard player as well. Think it's a winning recipe tonight but what the hell do I know anymore. |

Looks like every possible angle has been covered about adjustments here.
It's time to put up or shut up for the Penguns.
Penguins had a great game 5 last year 10-3 I'll take a solid 3-1.
I think Vitale and Kennedy have a big say in tonights outcome...either way. At least the 8 minutes of ice time they get won't be plodding around chasing the Islanders 4th line.
Kudos to Blysma for making the moves he did. |

-- If New York finds a way to win Game 5, pressure will increase on the Islanders. They haven’t dealt with any pressure against a prohibitive favorite thus far, but questions will be asked if a group of players who’ve never collectively won before can seal the deal on a playoff series.
Really,....simply facing the Pens line up is pressure...losing game one 5 to 0 and falling behind a few times in other games for this inexperienced group is pressure... Vokoun will get the win, he kills us all the time....proud of this team, they are on the rise and at least competing now after a long long time...Pens will flex some muscle tonight I'm sure...should still bea great game.....Go Isles |

Yes... all we can do now (and any other time lol) is sit back and watch the game tonight.
I am excited to see Vokoun, and how this team reacts. Of course it could all go down in a fiery mess, but I have a good feeling about tonight. |

The Pens can blame, the D or Fleury or whatever, but for all the mistakes they have made, the Isles have played very well. Okposo and Grabner espicially. Nabby has been average and they need a few more pieces to be true contenders, but they are moving in the right direction.
With regards to who sits tonight, Glass or Adams. I think it's debatable over who the better 3rd line center is over Sutter or Jussi. |

Saw this and made me laugh, wish it meant something but its still funny!!!!
