As in Brock Nelson, the former ND Fighting Sioux? I would love for Bennett to play and rail him hard into the boards so we can hear Pierre say that is Denver railing North Dakota into the boards, the fiercest Division I hockey rivalry going. - Oneonta Penguin
yes that's him and I choose to listen to my broadcast team. Cant stand Pierre |

Big time. MacDonald was a huge miss for them. If they are missing Nielsen, that is another huge void to fill. I guess Reasoner comes back.
I'm somewhat surprised Ullstrom was scratched. He has looked pretty good in this series. - Oneonta Penguin

I think we see Nelson or Strome before Reasoner again. His time as an Islander is over - mighty13duck
I'd argue, but the lineup I think it takes was is.
92 is just the calm the rest of the team needs.
48 was the oleman we know and love. Huge snipe for the first. |

Good for Tyler Kennedy. He's been a good Penguin for a while and has had a rough go this year.
Full marks to Vokoun. Can't underestimate the effect it had on the skaters mentality tonight. They didnt press as much. - Gunner Staal
This is exactly what I expected out of TK tonight. |

That's because Pierre blows every top player on each team in the locker room after every game. |

Why do I feel so chipper? It's like a giant weight was lifted off my shoulder tonight.... The Pens looked good. Vokoun looked good. The broads at the bar looked good. Great night |

Nice, solid team effort. Much better on the puck and TK with a series changer? We shall see, should be a good one Saturday. Vokoun!!! |

He now has six GW playoff goals which is sixth most in franchise history. |

So, Doug Murray has the same amount of goals in the play-offs as does Geno, Kuni and Letang. He has the same amount as Iggy and Neal combined. |

Look we know the Whyanders are going to complain.
Fact is the job is not done yet. Tte real Isles can play some hockey. Let's just focus.
I remember 92 from way back, thank you TV for not making me look stupid. - Sell My Monkey
Especially the Pens record of late in series clinching games. I realize it's a completely different team but they need to exorcise those demons. |

4th game is always a fight. They're going to have to match the Isles intensity for 60 minutes and execute. If they can do that, then they're looking much better heading into the 2nd round. |

very great night. was at the game and had a good time after.
very happy for some guys. Kennedy and Vitale. I've been very critical of them throughout the season, but if there is a series that they would thrive in, it would be this series. being a playoff scratch after being all year is tough, but they handled it well and made the most of it.
Vokoun. This guy has played on crappy team after crappy team. he left for Washington to be the #1 and he ended up riding the bench. really glad that he got this opportunity and really glad that he is making the most of it.
MAF. yes, MAF. Seeing him be involved in the game and clapping and looking upbeat was good to see. Through all the criticism he deserves, he is still a human being who has feelings. Not doing your job effectively is a very tough thing. I'm glad we won tonight or else he would be in a bad spot.
overall great play from the boys tonight. half of the battle is won. hopefully they keep the intensity going and wrap this up Saturday. we have had some very good Game 6s on the road and we need another great win on the road.
lets get it done.

The slashing and jabbing with the sticks on the Isles bench is the most pathetic display of sportsmanship in the world. I have never seen such a blatant disrespect for players and the game. The coach should be fined and the players that did this suspended 5 games minimum, there is no place in the game for that garbage. I want to hear why, from the Isles fans is it ok to do this now? What a joke of a team. Your welcome for us letting you have a little bit of fun this post season hope you enjoyed it.
