Look we know the Whyanders are going to complain.

Fact is the job is not done yet. Tte real Isles can play some hockey. Let's just focus.

I remember 92 from way back, thank you TV for not making me look stupid.

Saturday will be a test. The isles will be coming with everything they have. Pens NEED to show some consistency to their game and win that one.

No doubt. Knowing history, I can't even think about a Sens match-up.

haha so true. There are some angry Islanders fans that drop by to talk BS sometimes but it's all good. ...they are mostly good guys

Regarding the Senators, I'm afraid they'll try to go after Crosby or Letang if we make to the next round. I can just feel it. If they are down 3-1 in the series they'll want blood.

Let's get done with this series first before worrying about the Senators. That said, the Senators DON'T want to get into a goon it up type of series with us. They would lose.

I fully expect the Islanders to come out a blazing. Closing out a team is always the hardest game to get. Game is in NY; they have nothing to really lose since they will have taken this series longer than most thought. I wouldn't be shocked if they get down 3-0, they start gooning it up with Martin and Hamonic. I hope Malkin keeps his cool. He didn't tonight.

I wonder what happened to Nielsen after the game. He might be injured. That would be a big miss for them.

The Islanders missed Andrew MacDonald tonight too.

LBI for Nielsen per Twitter. I fully expect them to come out blazing. Need to withstand the initial surge on Saturday.

Thank God a 7pm start! I HATE afternoon games.

Big time. MacDonald was a huge miss for them. If they are missing Nielsen, that is another huge void to fill. I guess Reasoner comes back.

I'm somewhat surprised Ullstrom was scratched. He has looked pretty good in this series.

Got the backup we needed. Just in case.

I think we see Nelson or Strome before Reasoner again. His time as an Islander is over

I'm not sure I'd make a lineup change assuming everyone got out of the game in ok shape. I think TK needs to stay in.

Good for Tyler Kennedy. He's been a good Penguin for a while and has had a rough go this year.

Full marks to Vokoun. Can't underestimate the effect it had on the skaters mentality tonight. They didnt press as much.

As in Brock Nelson, the former ND Fighting Sioux? I would love for Bennett to play and rail him hard into the boards so we can hear Pierre say that is Denver railing North Dakota into the boards, the fiercest Division I hockey rivalry going.
