The owner needs to step in and can Gillis and AV. One or both of the Sedins need to be traded, as well as half a dozen other players, and buyout Booth and Ballard (assuming Luongo can be traded).

Gillis just said he offered playoff tickets to employees for half price because they were affected during the lockout and they normally wouldn't be able to afford them.

If it was a full season we wouldn't have needed a sweep by SJ to show everyone this team has fallen apart, The Wild would have caught us for the division and we may have missed the playoffs all together, but on the other hand if Gillis knew it was a full season Luongo would have been gone last summer.

No team can complain about injuries this year. Look at Ottawa, no complaints, rookies all over the place and they're one game away from the 2nd round.

This will also be one of the toughest offseasons for a lot of GM's in the league. It is going to be very tough for teams to improve their rosters with the cap going down 6 mil. Gillis and Gilman will have to pull some insane moves to make it work.
