First I'd like to say I like you're "fantasy land", that would make me happy! Second, there won't be anything but lip service today, Gillis won't make any rash decisions but hopefully poop hits the fan in two or three weeks.

I personally won't be watching anymore games, in full, but I will keep an eye on the Capitals (hate the Rangers), Sharks & Islanders...love a feel-good underdog story and I'd like to see Marleau get a Cup ring and shove it up everyone's ass who's not believed in him.

I personally love Ovechkins commitment to defense....
- TheGame316[/img]

Way to be typical.

Is the right winger supposed to be that low? Is he supposed to teleport to Stepan to tie up his stick? Where is the other defender? Oh, doesn't matter, it was obviously Ovi's fault. Not Backstrom's, the guy who was supposed to be covering Stepan. Lets just use this as fodder for Ovi playing horrible defense even though, as far as I know, they haven't invented teleportation yet.

Sweet commitment by Crosby there as well. Ignore the Goodfellas thing...

I am hoping AV cleans out his locker for good.

I hope new a GM is on the way, even Gilman .

My wish list for the summer.

Edler to Philly for Simmonds ,

Current Canucks style is Sedin influenced with the East/West game and we need a team to play North/South. I hope they are moved to the second line and cut back about 5 min per game on Ice time. I want them taken off the first line PP and that time is awarded to Kesler Burrows Garrison . I hope they play their final year of contract here and then are awarded one year at a time at 4 mil each .

Such a mess of epic proportions. Vancouver is trying to deal Luongo from such a position of weakness it's not even funny.

Most GM's will probably offer nothing and then say...Oh really? No deal? Have fun with your cap space then.

Gillis better have real answers and not the "we played a better team". MG f-ed up real bad with the goalie fiasco, if I were a Nuck fan, I would be asking for MG's head rather than Alains, just shameful

He'll most likely end up on waivers, what a mess GM MG has created with this one. At the time (different CBA) is was a good deal, there are a few of them out there.

Most things Mike Gillis has done lately have been a complete failure IMO, three years ago he added depth but now we just have a big mess on our hands. What if Aquilini says no we're not buying out anyone, you made the mess you clean it up?

I don't think anything will happen today - just the same old excuses for not winning - if there are changes coming it will be after the stanley cup has won and before the draft.

I feel the same about Thornton.

Guy doesn't put up points in one playoff series for Boston because he's playing with a shoulder of spaghetti, and people feel they can hang "playoff chocker" on him for life.

Okay, fodder accepted. Ovi showing how committed he is to team play. LOL How the hell can you stick up for him on a lazy effort like that one?

This is the part were Gillis strokes the Canucks' fanbase and tells them everything that they want to hear. Lip service.

Once everything has cooled off, very few of his actions in the off-season will correspond with what is said today.

Gillis, like every other GM, is nothing but a politician. He NEEDS the support of his backers (Aquilini), he NEEDS the support of his party (Management and players) and he NEEDS the support of the public (Fans), and he'll say/do everything he can to get it, but once does he'll do whatever the (frank) he wants and sees fit.

Take EVERYTHING Gillis has to say with a grain of salt and try to read between the lines my Canucks friends.

One thing is to be sure, Gillis won't be taking any of the blame. His ego is way too big for him to make himself accountable.

Jumbo is a major wuss, and he takes it to a new level with the embellishments. The guy is massive and plays like madonna.

Anyway, shouldn't you be talking to your wife about the XXX tablet issue? Excercise and deliver more than wedgies

I agree with this...and he has earned his "playoff choker" label for a good reason.
