No matter what happens on Saturday, I must say that im proud of what this team has accomplished..... we took a giant leap forward, and need to continue to.

We are making a series with an all talented team, no embarrassment, which we proved we belong.....

But next yr, we need a little more star power and better goaltending, and please some new D-men

My first instinct is to agree with you.

But Nabokov has barely under a 5.00 GAA in this series and has let up some real terrible goals. It can't possibly get any worse. I'm not necessarily saying I want them to do it, but it wouldn't be the worst move ever. It really can't get any worse than what Nabokov has done.

This has been the rap on Nabby in the playoffs. I would not be upset seeing Poulin but I doubt it happens.

Keaner17...he has been awful...can't win a Cup without a good playoff goalie. See Billy Smith... Nabokov, Boyes and Streit shouldn't be resigned...play some of the young guys and bring in a big time goalie...

First NHL game will be an elimination game in the playoffs? No way. Look at how shaky Lee was defensively...you're going to trust Strome? He'd probably end up playing like 5 minutes and everyone else would have to take up the slack.

Maybe they leave Joensuu and Ullstrom takes Nielsen's spot...otherwise it'll probably be Reasoner, and as much as I can't stand the guy, he's a safer choice defensively than Strome or Nelson.
