Rangers loosened up way to much when they got a 2-0 lead.

I hate to say it but the Rangers are losing the goaltending battle tonight.

To many missed opportunities in that 2nd period

I think part of that is that we've had better chances for. We've made Holtby make those tough saves. I thought Hank should have had that last one but can't complain too much given how many tough shots he stops.

This is starting to remind me of Game 4 in 2011. Except this time it was a 2 goal lead instead of 3 and the Rangers stopped playing that night and they stopped playing or didn't match the Caps "push back" after the 2nd goal...

They need to take this momentum back on this PP...even if they don't score, they need to get some flow and cycle back into their game...

Backhand shots are the hardest saves to make, but in saying that Hank needs to come out and cut down on his angles there. Holtby has had to make some really difficult saves but in saying that Hank needs to be Hank in this 3rd period. 2-2 game going into the 3rd on home ice. PP to start the 3rd let's get this done.

Agree. He needs to see Brouwer skating on backhand wide and come out to take that angle away. He made a mistake. Usually he's darn near perfect so it's okay. Need to get a couple in the third though. Or at least one. LGR!!!

He has been real quiet. I wonder whether he us battling some type of injury.
