Why the eff did Ovechkin get a penalty there? Are you not allowed to hit anymore?

Miller and Stafford for Letang and Fleury!
- ImThatGuy

Hey the way Fleury is going why the hell not I'm sure if you changed stafford to Ennis and a prospect you could probably get their attention #dosomethingdarcy

That was a good semi. I was sweating those last 15 minutes. But for the UCL final, you can be BVB fan. No one wants to watch Bayern and that stacked team win, its better when they suffer!

- theblueandgold

I will never understand the idea of starting Higuain over Benzema...that pissed me off especially since he scored as a sub

but yea I'll hop on the lewandowski bandwagon for the final. The guys a machine, could probably do well for the sabres if kicking the puck in was still allowed (though that Zibanejad goal helps)

Bennett is probably the one most likely in their long term plans out of that bunch

yeah, I do not think we are taking back enough salary either

I think you guys do make a change in net, if you can, if you fall short of the ECF's though

norris d man will not come cheap

plus the offer gives the pens a bit of cap space if they do not want to resign miller or vanek

throwing staff in the conversation for a likely norris winner gets a hang up

yea I just don't see it being worth it. Would letang even sign an extension here?

Edit: He's a lot younger than I thought, could be worth it.

Time will tell with Letang. His play in the Islanders series has left much to be desired IMO. Fleury is taking all the hat because of the very obvious gaffes but Letang and Niskanen have been pigs.

Shero will handle Letang like he did Staal.

Letang is very good but I'd be weary of him. Injury troubles, makes more mental errors than you would think, won't have Crosby/Malkin, and has a tendency to fly off the handle and do silly things (like cross checking linesman last night).

I wouldn't pay him 7M/year which is probably the going rate.

hmmm...This is essentially everyone's problem with re-signing Vanek here. His injuries do worry me and I haven't watched him enough to see those mental errors. I think if he was brought into help/play with Myers (obviously meaning Myers wouldn't be part of the hypothetical trade) I'd be willing to overpay and perhaps overlook some of the other stuff. At the very least it gives fans something to be excited about.
