The entire arena cheering, yeah ill go out on a limb and rope your entire fan base in on that one.
- nbartley9

I'm sorry, but you're going to have to submit your whining in letter-to-the-league form. That's the only way us classless Islander fans can properly understand it from your organization.

One factor that I think folks are overlooking though is that Fleury has also made a lot of huge saves that Vokoun might not of. He had something like a .930 sv pct coming into the game, so while he's allowed some softies, he's also faced a ton of rubber and made some big saves in close. He's been very DP like in that sense (pre injury).
I do worry what a focused Vokoun will do to the series but still remain confident that we can win this thing as long as we keep our emotions and penalties in check.

I'll tell you it's not over confidence but these guys have matured so much in the last few months. The way they played that third period showed a lot of heart. I think we can win this and if we don't they deserve a huge amount of appreciation from the fans none the less. Those post game interviews with Martin, Nabokov, Hamonic, and JT brought tears to my eyes some of which was from laughing(Nabokov)It's incredible what they've turned into discipline and attitude wise. They are a playoff team in every sense of the word. I can say i was'nt expecting this especially after game one. wow

They'll just say no one thought he was injured, already crossed this bridge with this tool box.

I spent a lot of time defending Garth but even I started to lose a bit of confidence myself based on the inactivity at the trade deadline. The fact is, he made a plan, stuck to it, remained patient and didn't make any knee jerk reactions and as he said earlier 'allowed the team to gel'. They've done just that and now we've got a couple of future stars ready to join the team next year. Even if this thing does end in round 1, I'm a total believer that he's built a franchise ready to compete and do so for a LONG time.

Great team to root for Potvin. Great crowd as well. Loved Hammer giving it to Malkin. No matter what happens in this series things are only going to get a lot better for this team.

i could be wrong but after hamonic and malkin go at it after the game, it looked to me like malkin was holding his hand/wrist as they were being separated... watch the replay

I love the Islanders!!!!!

How can you not at this point.

they are playing like a possessed team out there. Hitting everything in sight getting under the Pens skin.

Right now the Pens are biting there nails and not knowing what to do. Thursday is huge

I made mention of that as well. I think he was hitting his helmet which is of course stupid. I think he might have got alittle banged up there

You better watch out today bcs Karma might drop a sledge hammer on your head as you're walking down the street for being a hammer head yourself. Consider this a warning

These waiver wire slobs, as you have referred to the Isles, are tied and about to finish you off. Rebutal?

I agree, add a couple pieces and we're good. Snow deserves credit but I'll save gushing for the offseason. Afterall, I am still a wolfpac member

But you see he's a Pens fan, they are absolved from being classless. Diplomatic immunity so to speak.

Move along little fella, you're not needed here. Sid is a target, get over it. We don't like him, and we're hoping he doesn't like us. Then, the feeling is mutual.
